I can't believe they killed off Jackson West! After Nolan, he was my favorite. I loved his story arc last season. I wanted more of that.

I have a sneaky suspicion Jackson is still alive and will reappear in a later episode.

And it was the actor's choice to leave. Jackson is dead.

That episode was so amazing that I watched it last night and then again just now!

I didn’t care for it….it was just to quick to solve the issue.

plus, seriously?! La Fiera kidnaps Angela months before her due date? What kind of idiot is that? Kidnap the baby from the hospital….

Have you found any articles about the actor's departure yet? I haven't had a chance to look myself.

I found one that said Makin made it clear he wasn't coming back but didn't give a specific reason. It insinuated that there was a huge rewrite of the season premier because of it. I hope that's true, if the whole season is as bad as the premiere I'm done. There is some speculation that it had something do with a music career.

I know before season 3 he threatened to walk if the show didn't address the problem of racist police officers. I loved season 3. I thought they did a wonderful job. But maybe he wasn't satisfied with how the show addressed it.
