The Romantic Side Of The CBR

Hello All,

I'm heading to WDW in May of '02. I'm booked at the CBR with my girlfriend. I've never stayed at the CBR, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a romantic building or room. I've already called and asked for Martinique 24, 25, or 26, but I just saw some pictures of Jamaica and it seems so much nicer...

I think any room you get at CBR is great. We usually stay in Trinidad North. Trinidad South is even further away. The whole resort is beautiful and romantic.

I went with my girlfriend about a year ago and stayed at the CBR. We had a wonderful time. I usually request to stay close to everything but this time we stayed at Trinidad South, the furthest from everything by choice. We really enjoyed the romantic walks at night along the water. IT was also very quiet and along the walkway around the lake you could buy food to feed the ducks and she loved that. The trip really gave me a different perspective on staying at Disney. I'm usually so rushed to do everything. But my last trip at CBR was quite laid back and relaxing, at least as much as you can at Disneyworld. Of course we still had to ride all the rides!

I have stayed at CBR twice in the Martinique section. The first time I requested it. The second I asked for Jamaice. I think Jamaica is much prettier than the other four villages. We walked through one courtyard that was shady and full of ferns. It was very nice. The buildings are a bit more ornate and the towers reminiscent of the GF.

We stayed CBR for our Honeymoon! We had a corner room (King Bed), overlooking the beach! It was really romantic just to look out the window and see the sun rise, or walk steps outside and see the sun set. We were a little walk to the main pool and Food court, but that was great! We did not hear any noise or kids in the pool! The Hammocks that are on the beach are the best! Take advantage of them!! Enjoy the "quiet" pools also! They are not crowded and you will not be bombarded with kids!!! Have Fun and enjoy! By the way, welcome to the DIS!!!
