The River Rapids Ride has to be improved.

Agreed. I never really realized how bad Kali river Rapids was until I rode grizzly river run at our honeymoon at Disneyland this past April. No comparison!

I think part of the problem is it is a ride in a park with very few rides. So its inadequacies stand out moreso than if it was one of many rides.

Might have gotten lost in all the comments, but another poster mentioned that it's better in the dark - and I agree. Before our last trip a few weeks ago or was only open during the day with the park closing at 5. This last time it was open until 11,and we rode back to back 6 times in a row about 9.30 at night - aND the ride was so much better.
