LOVE the Mardi Gras pics! I have always wanted to go, but kinda scared to. I didn't realize that towns other than NO had parades and such.

Cute VB card holder!! I'm watching a few items on eBay right now. I need a case for my new laptop and I'd like to have a new park bag. Just trying to figure out which will work best for me.

Any excuse if fine when eating a funnel cake.

We have a huge Mardi Gras here!! In fact Mardi Gras was started here in Mobile and then went on to Biloxi then to NO. If you know where to go for the parades it is safe. As with everything, now days, there are bad areas no matter what you do

Now I want to look for a computer bag.........lol.

Love the card holder in Rasberry Fizz---that's the same pattern I gave my girls' for their Valentines gifts.

Did you see on Lisa's PTR where she used her card holder to store her KTTW/room keys/APs ?? Elizabeth has a card holder that she got when she went to a VB birthday party at the VB store at the Summitt. I'm going to find that thing and borrow Lisa's idea!

BTW, this is not a VB bug----it is the beginning of a beautiful relationship!

I'm looking so forward to getting my card holder. I stole Lisa's idea and that is why I ordered it...... I like the RF better than some of the the other colors. I am a blue/green person though.

I think I may be getting deeper into that realtionship......

It is very easy to get behind on at PTR. When I work I get behind and sometimes I can't ever catch up. I thought Matt was really romantic in the video. The note he handed her was a sweet poem he had written for her .

It was really cold. The wind was blowing like crazy. Thanks about the pic . It was the most fun Dallas and I have had alone in a long time.

It was a fun day!! Dallas and I love doing stuff together. The funnel cake was really good. I wanted the strawberry cake, but I knew I would make a huge mess.
I'm having to fight the urge to go to ebay and bid on everything......

Cute card holder! I was looking at the VB site last night...but, with only 67 days to go I think I better stay away for now...

we did not make MG again this year! Danny is such a stuge...Mandeville only has night parades and Sunday he just would not move...but, WDW has awesome parades and I don't have to worry about beads stinging him or bringing the stuff home
but, if anyone is interested in a family fun time here for Mardi Gras plan your time in Metairie or if you do the New Orleans area try to stay around the St Charles area around the old mansions and homes.

Well, we didn't get to go to Mardi Gras Tuesday. I had to work .

I woke up at 6:44 and thought I was probably not going to work since we have to be there at 6:30. I started getting my clothes together and was about to get ready when I decided to call the nursery and see what was going on. I spoke with Delores, my charge nurse, and she said Lynn was not there yet nor had she called in. She said she would find out something and call me back. I started getting ready and the phone rings, it is Delores and she asks me if I will come in . Oh well, I had told them I would work if Lynn was out. She didn't go into labor, but is having Braxton-Hicks and she is very uncomfortable. She is now 39 weeks and 3 days so she is ready.

I got to work at 8:00 and being an hour and a half behind is really hard. I swear I played catch-up all day and we were EXTREMELY busy. What's up with that on a holiday? So anyway we didn't get to play in the freezing cold, but I at least made time and a half for working a holiday .

I'm glad we went Monday so he at least got to enjoy that. If I'm off next Mardi Gras we can go then. We will be seeing parades at Disney and I can throw beads and stuff to him at home . I am going to put away every extra penny I make so I can spend it all at Disney . I felt sorry for Lynn yesterday when she called. This is her second child so hopefully Lil Buddy(that is what we have been calling him) will come pretty fast when he decides to make his appearance .

I was surprised when I got home and saw them because Dale and I had decided NOT to get each other anything and just celebrate Valentine's Day this weekend. I'm glad I at least got Dale a card .

I've got to admit that I laughed out loud at your "I gotta pee" moment. I swear we are sisters by another mister 'cause I have those moments all the time. Port-a-potties stink to high heaven....don't envy you there. But, I do envy you getting to go to the parade. Our Mardi Gras parade is at night and mostly the lunatic wild folks go to it. They, literally, camp out for days just to get a good spot. Not I said this little piggy.

I did notice the Kermit bag beside ya'll. I hope that you were able to fill it up with all the goodies they threw at you and Dallas. I love the picture of you two. That was really sweet of the guy to take your picture together.

People fuss about the price of food in Walt Disney World but you had to pay over $20 for just two funnel cakes and a drink.

I just saw Mary's post and realized I forgot to comment on your flowers. What a beautiful surprise! We decided not to buy each other Valentine's Day presents this year and instead buy new Saint's Superbowl shirts. My aren't we romantic!

I thought about you when the urge hit me like it did. When it hits me like that I don't have an option but to find a bathroom or a bush . We have a lot of night parades too and yes the wild ones do come out. We did fill the bag up, I should have taken a picture after the parade.


Thanks about the picture. I thought it was nice of the guy to offer. I was trying to take our picture and he walked by and asked if he could take it.

I knew the food was going to be high, but $21 for 2 funnel cakes and a lemonade? I was stunned .

I had to run a few errands today and decided to stop in the Dollar Tree and see what they had to offer. I found some Disney figurines, Disney Easter window clings, Tink and Mickey Easter egg dye and a light up Fairy wand. I am going to decorate my table with Disney stuff. I will post pix when we get it done.

I went to Walmart too and found some clothes on clearance. Here are my buys.
