Ya, pretty much. We would always eventually find her. We never just stopped looking for her, but if we ever lost sight of her, we just stopped panicking and started looking for her. It became so common for her to wander from the group whenever we went out to ANYWHERE.

Before we left a place, we would always announce loudly, "FRANCES! WE'RE LEAVING! WE'RE OVER HERE AT THE EXIT!" And she would eventually find us then. We basically just stopped worrying.

This is hilarious! I can just imagine the faces of those around you thinking "who are they yelling at?" Ha ha ha. Yeah, sometimes I feel that way too when I see Ashlyn wander around the house and I think "maybe I should go see what she's up to..." after a while...

Err, that's not how I remember it...we were all looking for seating, I found an area and defended it with Ashlyn..you joined me (sans Dylan) and then Wendy showed up with Erin, Allan and Kim. Then Dylan came crying down the stairs....then after consoling him you went to get your food. But who's going to come between you, your food and the Land? Maybe senility is setting in...or denial.

I think it actually was me consoling Dylan... anyway, enough of this telephone game... moving on. Ha.

I torment Kata too! I actually put a countdown timer on the other computer to show how many days we have left until she turns 18!!! We still have 10 years to go though

That is crazy! I should do that...

Hey! I was on that cruise - I could help! I'll have to go back and look for the pics to download....

Tammie... did you fall into the ocean off the dock on that cruise? I remember someone doing that but can't remember.

Thanks Rosie, (and Seanaci, Camille, Carrie and Wendy as well) for weighing in on my glass frame selection! I'm still weighing my decision (as well as a sixth option to go back and see what my optometrist friend, Dr. Kent, has available. I think I found a pair of new frames that I liked for $150 (excluding the updated lens)....but alas, new glasses or maybe saving up for a new iPad (Wendy saw it today at our local MacMall and may even be getting on board with the idea).

if you haven't heard we had a "little" earthquake out here. 7.2 which is huge, but centered over 100 miles from here. It was still strong enough to be felt out there and it lasted for 30 seconds. It was a rolling one.....

No damage here. Everyone's fine.

I'll be back tomorrow for my usual Monday all day on the DIS day.
