Yeah, I'm such a tormenter (and teaser) to Erin....she's all, "I don't ever want to leave the house." and I'm thinking to myself "I know I should record this so I can play it back to her when she's a teenager and sneaking out of the house."...:rotfl:Oh, but I'll have to lock down the house....too bad we have too many windows and doors to sneak out.:confused3

I torment Kata too! I actually put a countdown timer on the other computer to show how many days we have left until she turns 18!!! We still have 10 years to go though :confused3

Well, I guess this thread has tought me one thing........Don't go to sleep! I wake up to find 3 more pages and now my kids are looking at me like im a moron for laughing at a computer! We have TONS to to today so there is a chance I wont be able to log back in until Monday! We let Kata skip school yesterday to go to Busch Gardens and I got BURNT :scared1:. We have family in town for the weekend so we have lots to do and tomorrow we are going to Busch again! It is our Non-Traditional Easter Tradition now! And to top it off.......Guess who's sick now?!?!?!?! I thought it was allergies due to people mowing grass and stuff but it's been 4 days now so I think it might be a cold . I am sure that when I get back in here Ill have 10 pages to catch up on!!! Have a Happy Easter everyone!

Sorry to hear that you're ill but we'll be thinking about you. Have fun at Busch Gardens....sounds like fun:banana:

On a separate note....I woke up this morning and found my glasses hanging on a thread. This is what they look like now.

I guess I need Jordan's superman powers....or his super glue! Have a nice Easter and hope you're not behind like 20 pages by Monday.

Hahahahahaha! :rotfl: It's fun to tell your kids stuff like that! Aren't we wonderful parents? ;)

I used to tell Judy "Don't let the Door hit you in the Butt when you leave and remember it'e NOT a revolving Door " Poor kid really believed I'd kick her out !!!! Funny too how she told her friends , we MADE her go to college !!:rotfl2: Now she tells her kids College is NOT an Option YOU ARE GOING!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

My consumers present me with glassses looking like that all the time !!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

oh my gosh Derek, what happened to your glasses overnight???

Speaking of non-traditional Easter dinners, this year, my family's being spoiled. We're eating KOBE beef at a teppenyaki restaurant tomorrow!:lovestruc:lovestruc Yes, teppan as in Teppen Edo. Lucky for my family, I have an uncle that owns that restaurant.:thumbsup2 So at least once a month, we get to eat there!

Which is one of the reasons why I don't think I'll ever eat at Teppen Edo. Oddly though, no matter HOW MANY times I see that onion volcano, I still love it! And I must've seen it over hundreds of times now! Haha:lmao:

Hahahaha, you're so funny Rosie! :rotfl:

Doesn't it always seem to work out that way? We grow up saying we'll never do what our parents did, etc and then the next minute you yell something at your kid and you're like, "OMG! I'm just like my mom!!"

I noticed last night that my frame was bent but when i bent it straight, it hinged back and forth like a swinging door. I should have known something was wrong.

This morning when I tried to fix it again, it snapped. I've had these frames for several years and only use them before I go to bed at night or when my contacts are bothering me. Unfortunately, I'm not covered for new glasses until next year so either I'll have to pay out of pocket or do without them.

Ironic that we've been talking so much about glass frames.....maybe I should have a group vote a recommended style for me as well.

Jordan, why don't you do a retro report on this trip sometime? Looks like you guys were having a blast!

This might have to be a group effort. But looking back over the years, we've had a number of good Disney trips so we'd have a lot to catch up on.;)

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! That is the cutest picture of Dylan! :)

Happy Early Easter!
Thanks Lauren...as we've said on previous posts, we have a lot of blackmail pictures for Dylan. During this period of time, we called him "our little Michelin Man". Thank goodness he grew out of that phase, I'd hate to carry him (he always asks for piggy back rides which are really riding on my shoulder) if he weighed more than he does now.:rotfl:

Yes. A group vote would be fantastic.

Also, if you still have or know your script from when you got the glasses, might I suggest Zenni Optical. Frames start out at $8. That's where my neighbor buys hers. And I am considering buying myself a pair or two for spares. :thumbsup2

That sounds like a great idea! Maybe you need to go for something a little more durable....Like....thicker rims or something.

I highly recommend http://www.coastalcontacts.com/ They've got great prices and a wide selection. I buy my contacts and solution from them.

Thanks for the references. I usually buy my frames from our dear family friend, Dr. Kent, our family optometrist (and a huge Disney Fan :smickey:) but on occasion there are frames which he doesn't stock or can't get at a good discount. I once saw a DG frame that I loved at Lenscrafter but Kent couldn't get it for me. I'll check out both sites and give you some options to vote on! :thumbsup2

On another note, here's a picture of my breakfast (spam fried rice with eggs) which Wendy was kind enough to make and Jordan has influenced with his taste for all things Tabasco (he actually ruined my breakfasts because I can no longer appreciate eggs or fried rice without it:headache:)

Oh, Tabasco.....I need to get me some of that. I've got all sorts of asian chili sauces but I don't have Tabasco.:sad1: Shame on me

Hey! I was on that cruise - I could help! I'll have to go back and look for the pics to download....pirate:
