Lucky duck!!! I must have missed that reply. I used to at least browse through all the replies on your PTR but anymore it's all I can do to keep up with your actual updates.
La Madelaine is delish!!! It was a go-to fave when we lived in DFW. I'm sure we've been to half a dozen locations, all good.

It sounds like my kind of place...I wish they would head out West....

I love their food! I have several jars of the soup in my kitchen right now. They're suppose to start selling it at Sam's sometime in the future.

Store bought is still good, but not the same as getting it "fresh" at the restaurant...still..there's a sam's right down the street....:thumbsup2

I was just thinking that I might start typing the date at the top of each update so people can keep up with which "date" I'm on. Because when I say it's "day 2" for us, it's more like day 3 or 4 for Winkers and Rosie. :confused3 Just a thought.

did you see what Great Biscuit did on page 124...he put all our updates in chronological order....how awesome is that?:thumbsup2

You know, he was thinking the same thing. Funny thing is that you guys sound a lot alike. The entire time we were heading up to BLT he was whispering to me "these people don't want a bunch of strangers in their room!!!" :rotfl2: Which I totally understood so we made a pact to go in, say hello and come right back out. But then the kiddo's started playing and you guys started talking. It was nice. We really enjoyed the little bit of time there with everyone. But yeah, next time the guys could hang for a brewski I suppose. (:scared1: Did I really just say that???) j/k Or maybe the girls could have a spa day!! :banana:

You girls could go spa and we can take the kids to the park or maybe to the Community Hall

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yup We are all on the same day, but it is your first full day!!!:thumbsup2

Both blue and I are just finishing up our 1st day. I think Blue is done with her first day.

Do NOT tell me Tink is a MAN!!!!!!:scared1:

That is :eek::eek:

I was not the bearer of that news. I think Brenle was...I just don't want to see the stache on Tink...

I could tell you stories about the characters..

Lol. I guess it's impressive. :lmao: My phone has a Swype keyboard...where you just swype your finger quickly across the letters to spell out the word. I had trouble with it when my fake nails were longer. But since I cut/filed them back, it's way easier. Much easier than trying to type out each letter individually. :D :goodvibes

wow!

I feel like we have the wanting to know our nieces/nephews better in common. I have an amazing almost 5 year old nephew and a niece who is just 3 months younger than my son. My brother and SIL live less than 10 minutes away from us, yet we hardly see them because my SIL can't stand my mom. :( It's really sad.

Life on Earth is too short. I need to figure this thing out with my SIL....

If it were me, I'd totally leave all the kiddos with the men and have a girls spa day...or heck, have a girls day/afternoon/morning to go tour a park together. My mom, sister, and I did that one night back in 2008...left the men in the room to relax, and us girls went and toured MK. We rode everything we wanted and had fun running from ride to ride during the parade and then the fireworks. :D

Wendy and Kim did a DTD morning in 08 and left Derek and I with the kids.

Love the update and the pics of BLT, Jordan! The view from the room is great and how nice that you all got to hang out. I'm not always great with people I don't know; my DH is the one who will make friends with everyone in the room.

You're welcome.:)

You didn't seem so shy when we met up. I am really happy we got to meet up!

end of first day or is it? and at about half of what they will allow for a TR to reach on pages, jordan i think we need to strart taking bets on how many parts and page this TR will hvae,

my guess is 10 parts (meaning 10 different 250 pages, and on the 10th one it will have 137 pages.

:surfweb::goodvibes

I think 4 parts...4th part 25 pages....

Great updates Jordan... and what an interesting article about your Dad!! It's amazing he harbors no hard feelings. I'm very happy the university is reaching out to him, and that he's going to get a long deserved honorary degree!

You have a very special family Jordan, thank you for sharing them with us all!!

Oh and yummmmmmm soup. ;)

I've heard of a few people from our church receiving honorary degrees as well...:thumbsup2

I am jonesing for some of that soup from the Wave....

just wait til my cousin's wedding in July...it'll be a for real "PeepFest". I'll make sure to take pix....:thumbsup2

Ok, if this does not convince you....SHE HATES DISNEY!:eek:

I have asked her to meet me there with her girls for over 10 years, even said I would pay for her room, but no go! COME ON!! Who in their right mind does not love DISNEY WORLD!!??

SO the next trip is in the planning, and I am stoked!:yay:

My SIL has ridiculed my love of Disney on more than one occasion...:confused3
