Go LONGHORNS!!!!!! Oops wrong school.

Go Mustangs!!!! Oops..

Go Frogs......

Go Aggies???????

Congrats!!!!!:woohoo::woohoo:

Now Way you can totally Say Go Long Horns!! That's actually his first pick, but we haven't heard from them as of yet, everyone says March. :confused3 He wants to go to school there for their Business school, he wants to study International business. He has a gift for speaking different languages, or at least picking them up quickly.

Congratulations Camille!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a wonderful school and that is fabulous news!

Nothing beats the guy on the plane in China who picked his nose and then wiped it in the barf bag and then stuck the bag back in the magazine rack....:scared1:

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

I like the "naughty" chonies.

Lol. I got a chuckle out of those as well. ;)

Hold up....I just had the worst thought about the whole booger in the barf bag situation. Think about it....someone is SICK because of the flight. They take the barf bag out and barf in it. Isn't this person having a bad enough day as it is??? I mean now they are going to barf in the bag and when they are done they come off the bag with a booger on their lip or something. WTH?? Oh man, I do feel for that person. That is a bad, bad day someone is going to have. :sad2:

No kidding. I'm sure if we knew everything people put in or used those barf bags for we'd die!

I just watched an episode of The Dr's a couple weeks ago. And they did several little segmants on how to stay healthy when you travel. Let me just say, travelling my plane for me will never be the same again. :confused3:sick:

I didn't think about joining in on the nose pickage although I do admit I have picked my nose before.....;)

Lol. People are lying if they say they've never picked their nose. :D

My Boy Got In To.....

A&M!!!!

It's his second to top choice, but he's thrilled just the same and SO ARE WE!!!!

:woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

Elizabeth eliz991 will be thrilled to hear this too. She graduated from there.

Thank you Jordy for allowing me to hi-jack a bit. I'm so excited, but you all probably can't tell.

Congrats to him! That's amazing!! And congrats to you as well!

I really don't mind it at all. The bus stop factor was a big plus.

That was what we loved best about our room at ASMu in 2008...close to the main building and bust stops.

Congratulations Camille!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a wonderful school and that is fabulous news!

 Thank you Cynthia.

Congrats to him! That's amazing!! And congrats to you as well!

Thank you all!!! I'm so thrilled to know his hard work and my nagging payed off!! :rotfl:

I even wrote in Aggie Red incase you didn't notice. :thumbsup2

We love our Texas schools, either school will be a fine school! Living in Austin of course we love our Long Horns, but I'm not so silly that I can't love our Aggies too! I have friends who's kids I adore going to A&M and I can't say I would pick one over the other.

Truth be told though.....I would love for my baby boy to be close to home ....shhhhh don't tell him that though.
I'm just so darn thrilled he made it in!
He was involved in so many things this year he didn't have it in him to get in being the top 10%, he was top 12% not top 10 (top 10% gets you in automatically).
He was in the youth band playing bass, on swim team and getting up before the crack of dawn to swim before school for practice, took on a girlfriend this year for the first time (who also goes to UT)..... <-- this was me about it. And he had all AP classes ontop of it! :scared1: I don't know how this poor boy got through the year, let alone made it into one of his top schools of choice!

I'm so proud. This isn't a sad cry by the way. :goodvibes

:lmao::lmao::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I had to go re-read my post to make sure I had actually posted that. I give you major kudos for making the comment. It was well deserved!

Guess that's what happens when I'm tired for not getting to sleep till after 2am (even though I went to bed at 11pm) and for cleaning house most of the day. :D

Oh. And my husband had to come in and read over my shoulder after hearing me crack up laughing at my mistake. He got a kick out of it too and said that he thought that was something guys were suppose to slip about when posting. :D

Okay...the floss thing is just flat-out gross! Will have to remember to never just stick my hand blindly into a seatpocket again! Sounds like the room worked out well for you! I would imagine the close to the bus stop thing to be a good perk! Eeks..I cannot stand Gardettos! S'alright though, leaves plenty of them for the rest of you!

One time I was in a drug store and I heard that unmistakeable clip clip and peered down the aisle to see the culprit...it was an old man and he was clipping his nails IN THE AISLE and then plop he put them back in the canister on the shelf!!! :scared1: I almost fainted!! :rotfl2

And this is why I will never buy any grooming utensil that is not pre-packaged. :crazy2: That skeezes me just thinking about it, and I am not uptight about too many things like that! My biggest one is the donut cases where the donuts are just sitting there unwrapped, and if you look, you can see the flies buzzing around in the case! Piper never begs me for those because I made her look closely once.. :lmao:

Sheesh! With all the biologicals on this report, I'm starting to feel as if I should glove up and put on a mask before reading!

...and I think its way too early to break out the "Naughty" undies!

I think your room will work out well... lots of plusses!

And I feel the same way about the new toned-down and mature Stacy. Yuck. Don't they realize that we liked her the way she was??

Sorry for the pathetic food porn; you probably were starving by breakfast!

Kathy

Okay..after reading through all the commentary..I can't resist...

Everybody, everybody's doing it, doing it..
Picking their nose and chewing it, chewing it..
Think it's candy...but it's snot!

Okay..back to the normal calm, serene, non-bodily function thread that this usually is... :rolleyes1:

Really? No Gardettos? very interesting. do you like chex mix?

Yuck on the donuts. I thought you were going to say if you look closely you can see the fingerprints on the frosting....

I feel your pain about being starving on the night of your arrival. I think all West Coasters know what you are talking about. You leave at 10 AM in California, they don't serve food on any planes, you barely have time between flights, and everything is closed at MCO when you land. Starving probably isn't even the right word for how you were feeling. On our last trip, we stopped at a mini mart on the way to our hotel. We picked up some pre-packaged sandwiches that would normally taste terrible, but at 1:30 AM they were the BOMB! :thumbsup2

I just told Todd your dental floss story. I wish you could have seen the look on his face. That is so gross. I always use the pocket to hold books, food wrappers, etc. but I always clean it out at the end. I assumed everyone else does too.... that's what I get for assuming. Yuck!
