Bravo on another great update! Tribute to soup and bathroom reviews = :thumbsup2

I feel like I owe it to people to let them know about EVERY experience at WDW.;)

Not going to say it, not going to say it…..

Niiiiiiice!

:lmao: Not going to say it, not going to say it....

:rotfl2: Maybe they are lurkers and wanted to give you some TR fodder.

Score! :woohoo:

Yes! :sunny:

Isn’t this the spot of Zzub’s infamous number 4? :tilt:

:rotfl:

Breakfast of champions my friend. Hope you didn’t go back on Mission Space. You could have changed assignments to Blaster. :darth:

Sounds like an Awesome morning to me my friend.

Thanks for being so thorough in your replies....look I'm being lazy...just clumping them all together...

Food and Mission: Space never a good combination.

I had a GREAT morning.

I love how you put everything from your perspective with the pictures. Makes me feel like I'm right there with ya!

My intent when taking the pix was to put you in my shoes.

What a silly small bathroom. When they're that small, why even bother?! You've got some mega kahunas for taking pictures in the bathroom!

I dont even know why that restroom is there either, but the closest easily accessible restrooms are either in the UK pavilion or back near Club Cool. So I guess, it's there as a "just in case" restroom...

Sounds like you had a great weekend. So sorry about the traffic and racisim. Like many have said I just didn't expect that in Cali. I think of it being such a melting pot and liberal. I can't believe you carry crazy glue everywhere but not gas medicine.:confused3 If you're going to be prepared do it right.

Your Epcot morning sounds so nice. No crowds. :cloud9: So did you ditch lunch at Sunshine Sesons?

It's so funny that people think all of CA is liberal..I guess we live in a bubble in Orange County--very, very conservative where I live.

I usually carry Tums, Gas-X, Prilosec...but I hadn't been having any issues before the trip...:rolleyes1

You'll see if I eat lunch in the next few updates.:):thumbsup2

WHOA! :scared1: You ARE bold!! I might have done the "talk loudly so they can hear me" thing but I am definitely not so brave to actually tell them to their face! Yowza. Your kids have nothing to fear if they need sticking up for because MOMMA'S GONNA BRING IT!! You are definitely a brave soul. What did the girl do??? Bet she looked like this --> and then --> :guilty:

LOL! I just couldn't help it! I would never do that to a sweet baby waving at me. In fact, I am a sucker for kids who are looking at me. Wherever we are, I am waving away at babies or kiddos if they look at me. :goodvibes

She kind of gave me a dirty look and then when she saw that I wouldn't stop looking at her...she looked away finally. My moms face was bright red...she is the type to just ignore stuff like that and to not let it bother you. But not me! :goodvibes
But, I really am a sweet gal! ;)

Awww, I just love Epcot and I get all tingly inside when I see the World Showcase for the first time! :goodvibes

Have mercy! I don't read your trip report for a few days and I am, literally, tens of pages behind. Let me see if I can remember what I wanted to post about. Yucky smucky for the traffic. My daughter does mission work and attends college near Atlanta. The traffic there is horrible and we have always always been delayed. Wouldn't want to drive in California traffic for sure!

Traffic is a life sucker outer...

It's hard to believe that in this day and age there are still so many racist out there. Living herein the Deep South, I see it all the time. So very very sad.

Reality sometimes is a bummer.

It sounds like the retreat was powerful and moving. I think we all need retreats like these to cleanse our souls and remind us of what's truly important in life. I thank the good Lord above that there are people out there like you who are helping lay a good foundation for our youth. My daughter knew as a young teenager that she wanted to go into the ministry and I am ever so proud of my baby (even though she's 22, she's still my baby).

I have always had a heart for youth/college/YAs....knew in college I'd eventually be doing what I'm doing now. It took awhile though...

I don't think it's odd at all that you carry a tube of Super Glue around with you. I never ever ever go anywhere without one. In 2008, I had a temporary crown fall out of my mouth right in the middle of our lunch at the Electric Umbrella. Yep, it popped out and bounced right across the table like a grasshopper. Thankfully, I had a tube of Super Glue and I glued that baby back in. When I got back home, my dentist said I did a mighty fine job! Needless to say, that vacation memory sticks with me (get it...sticks with me:laughing:) and I never leave home without my super glue.
:yay::yay::yay:

I knew I wouldn't be the only one who carried super glue!

Now, on to your latest Disney trip update. Too bad you didn't make rope drop but sometimes even the best of us hit that snooze button a few too many times.

I loved the Mission Space story. Too cute! I really figured that one of them would be barfing too from the way the story started out. I can handle a little fart or two much better than a barf.

MouseGears is one of my favorite stores in DisneyWorld. I could walk around in there for hours just looking around.

I had to laugh outloud at your bathroom pictures. My daughter and I take bathroom pictures all the time. We often wonder if people think we're nuts but I guess I don't really care 'cause I keep sneaking in and taking them.

I don't think you've wasted your time at Epcot at all. It's nice to take a park at a leisurely pace and not have any real plans.

Looking forward to more!

true that farts are better than barf:thumbsup2

:yay::yay::yay: first super glue carrier and now restroomer picture taker...:thumbsup2

Slow and relaxed was kind of what I did most of the trip....

Hey Jordan,

I have seen you all over the DIS, so thought it was time I dropped in!!

Your TR is great!! I'm subbing in!!

Thanks for the play by play on the bathrooms. I'm afraid DH won't "go" the entire 12 days we're away!!! This will make him feel better....at least he can go in Epcot!! :rotfl:

I think your morning sounds wonderful! Nice & relaxing!

Thanks for sharing the retreat pictures too... I added Crazy Glue to my packing list. :thumbsup2

I loved that morning. It really was so nice. I really tried to take it all in..

I loved the retreat.

Krazy Glue is the best. it's saved me a few times.

I am really enjoying your updates, Jordan! The retreat sounds just wonderful (minus the ignorant locals :sad2:), as does your solo morning. I'm thinking that I may try to go solo for a couple of hours one morning or evening on our upcoming trip while the kids are sleeping. It just seems so peaceful and relaxing! :cloud9:

I highly suggest spending some time on your own--even if it has to be early in the AM or late in the evening--some of the most peaceful times of day.

That's why I love doing Trip Reports. It extends the vacation--in my case usually 15 or so months..;)

And I'm glad you do! I'll be living vicariously through yours until December when we go back.

I'm tempted to start a pre-trip report, but it's only March! :lmao:

Hey, I went to Yale! What does he do? (I went to Texas A&M undergrad and Yale for law school, in case you're confused).

He works with the Art Galleries/Museums on campus.

The women's restroom right there is tiny too! We stood in a long line for it one day before we realized there were only two stalls; no wonder the line was long.

I know right where you were sitting...there is a smoking section right behind the refreshment port. I considered getting the empanada one day but decided against it; doesn't sound like I missed too much.

you didn't miss much with the empanada.

I would only use that restroom again if it's between 11:00am and 11:30am...when it's slow.

WHAT??? Did I text you that morning? I must not have. You could have hung with us that morning. After our initial meet the characters and run for soarin' fast passes, we just took it easy strolling around WS. As DS did Kimmunicator missions we just took our time walking through each country shopping, exploring, etc.

BTW, that was the same place I got my cappuccino that morning and burned my tongue!!

We must've kept missing each other. I was just putzing around...

Ouch. I remember you telling me about that.

Jordan, great update. I loved the shot of the empenada on the ground framed by your feet. :thumbsup2

I'm hoping that when we go to the World in 2011, I'm able to get out early one morning and just explore a park by myself (or heck, if my mom wanted to join me it could be fun) without the husband or kiddo. My parents and sister made it to EMH at DHS back in 2008 and were able to ride ToT, RnRC, and TSM...I was jealous. :D

Alright. I digress. No more thread highjacking.

It's the best to hit a park or even your resort by yourself. You get a completely different vibe.

The racist comment is just disgusting. Why are people that ignorant?

I love the update and your restroom review :lmao:
And your morning sounds just perfect. I love MouseGears too!

People are people so why should it be....

The morning was perfect. If I could've caught a few zzzzz's on a bench it would've been even better.

I complain about a garden view at the Beach Club :lmao::lmao:...dh thinks Pop looks like one of the hotels people get late saturday night if you get my drift lololol ...hes a real card...

I used to think I'd never stay in a value...but it's been an eye opening experience...I love Pop for sure.
