The Remy Thread-Chefs de France (schedule in 1st post)

is he a person in costume (character) or a real rat

answered my own question via google search he's neither. He an animatronic little mouse. Makes more sense now. My kids would love it.

If you really want to see Remy lunch is the way to go. We had a 5 ADR last Friday since he is supposed to be there until 5:20 but our waiter says he leaves after the lunch crowd winds down around 4ish most days. The meal was quite nice anyway but we wouldn't have eaten as early as 5 had we not been trying to see Remy too.

Oh no. I have a 5:10 ADR on Nov. 25. I will likely cancel if Remy will not be there. Anyone seen him at dinner lately?

I didn't know if anyone had posted many pics of Remy, but here's one from May 09.

Does anyone know how long Chefs serves from their lunch menu? We'd like to make ADRs for 5pm, try the ham and cheese, and see Remy. Would that work?

I didn't realize he was NOT there on Sundays...is this still true? I made a ressie specifically for a Sunday, but will change it if I must just to see him.

We had an ADR for 4:45 in October and it was the dinner menu. It looked like they start serving dinner at 4:30. I don't know if you can order something from the lunch menu at dinner time.

We did see Remy during his last visit of the day which starts at 5:20. Definitely fun
.
Someone else asked about Sunday - that's Remy's day off.

Thanks so much!

Does any one know if this is still going on for sure and for how long it will be there? I have looked at some other posts, but the best I have found is the last sighting was 10-31.

I heard when Remy is there it's mostly at lunch, not dinner.

I did call a CM there today and I was told it's still going on, but I couldn't get info on how long Remy will be there.

I made my lunch ressie for Dec. already; so, I'm really hoping he's there. TIA

I've heard the same. We were there in Aug and he made his rounds...he is SO lifelike, really amazing. Also, one of THE best meals we had that trip! :thumbsup2

I just saw him yesterday. It was around 2:30. We were walking by to head to the bakery and there was a huge crowd outside the windows staring inside and taking pictures. Be prepared for an audience if he visits you :)

I just booked dinner at Chefs de France and the CM told me that he does shows until 5:20...so he is still there, don't know how often he comes out but I think it's all day.

This will be our first time there, we could not get Le Cellier so I decided to try this one. Is it good?

I'm so glad I found this thread! I was hoping to find a fun but more "grown-up" ;) TS for my DD's 17th b-day lunch in May and I think this will be perfect!

I loved this place! The food was really good (I got the french onion soup and the Macaroni au gratin) and I loved both. THe atmosphere, the service, and especially Remy was top notch. Was our favorite meal of the week!

What does Remy look like? Is it a guy in a costume? My son was like " MOM how HUGE is that rat going to be?" LOL
