The recent survey asked about the Disney theming at the hotel

We just got back from OKW on Tuesday and the survey asked, "To what extent would you say your room was... Just like other hotel rooms......OR.........Uniquely Disney"

Nice to see they may be getting the message that the rehabs are too bland and generic.

unfortunately it does not mean everyone agrees that theming is lacking( I do! really miss the disney touch- feel like rooms have lost their unique character.) Also doesn't mean they will listen to members if they say "just like other hotels"... the old "members asked for it routine!"

Sadly it's not just the resorts that are lacking that Disney touch.

Since Disney has been touting their resorts as "industry standard" the past few years, I don't see them as being motivated to enhance their theming in the resort villas. It's a shame, but I agree that not every Disney guest or DVC owner thinks that bland is a step backwards. What I call bland, others will call "clean", or "stylish" or "modern".
