The RC Weight Loss Support Thread. We're making a BIG change!

So, for today, I had half a bagel with cream cheese, only because it was yucky and I didn't want to finish it (not showing restraint or anything :) )

Then for lunch, I had a grilled chicken Caesar salad....so yummy!!!

And then I had a cupcake from my favorite cupcake place....BUT, it has been weeks since I have been there, so I really needed it!! :love:

Dinner??? Haven't had it yet....DH is working late so this could be dicey...and I'm super hungry...

Well, dinner turned out to be a turkey club sandwich that I made myself. Based on my ingredients, couldn't have been too fattening (prob less than 10 grams of fat). Wasn't the most amazing dinner I've ever had, but my i'm full and will be able to workout without puking! :rotfl2:

TODAY

Breakfast~ oatmeal with walnuts and cranberries

Lunch~ Smartones Lasagne

Dinner~ small steak and cheese sub (not best choice, but we had softball tonight and I usually get a bigger one...:rolleyes: )

1 hour Zumba class completed. I'm ready for bed...
 
Good job Candace! I'm joining weight watchers when I get home tonight. If I join for 3 months I'll be able to do use it before Disney and when I get back. I don't believe in dieting on vacation. :rotfl:

I know it really works for some people! One thing that really worked for me a few years ago was Alli! I lost close to 20 lbs in about 6 weeks!!! But....then I got a really bad cold and stopped....:upsidedow

I don't believe in dieting on vacation either!!!

Today was a pretty good day! I had two hard boiled egg whites before work, a grilled chicken wrap for lunch, and a chicken caesar salad from Applebees for dinner. I am still 19 points under my daily allotment though. I'm still trying to get the hang of eating enough I guess!

I took Friday and Saturday off from any exercising...my lower leg was getting shooting pains in the shins (like shin splints) except I really haven't done high impact stuff...:confused3

Anyways, I didn't eat horribly, but not overly conscious about what I was eating either.

Today, I had a bagel for breakfast, some left over Chinese food for lunch, and then grilled boneless pork chop, rice pilaf and spinach for dinner.

This was followed by 45 minutes hard cardio on my elliptical.

I have to get to the doctOr. I think I have a heel spur in my left foot and it's progressively getting worse. I want to be able to walk in August!

I went to Trader Joe's tonight and stocked up on all of my good food. Tomorrow I will go to Costco to get grapes, cherries, and apples.

Congrats on WW Dani! I'm new to WW, this is my third week. I'm still trying to understand the points system! Are you doing WW at a centre near you, or online? I have 4 weeks of coupons left, I am struggling with whether or noti want to stay after they are done or not....or move to online WW. I was a little bummed at my weigh in because I maintained this week at 203.5.....BUT

Surprise, surprise, stepped on the scale this morning.....and DOWN to 201.5!!!!! that was a shock.....don't understand how I can be down 2 lbs in 2 days, but perhaps I was retaining a lot of water due to the end of my friend Flo visiting, :rotfl: or something else.....whatever it was, I'll take it and hope it keeps going down! I know I'll have to add in exercise soon......,but I HATE exercise! :p however, I do want to start a walking program because I don't want to be so sore in Disney with all the walking :)

I find it better if I just put some in a small cereal bowl, savor them and then put away the bag.....otherwise I'll be through the bag in a sitting with my mindless eating! :rotfl: chips are definitely my one favourite bad for me food!

I am doing it online. I just don't have time to go to the meetings and get weighed in and I know I am strict enough with myself not to need them. A coworker goes to the center because she says she needs the accountability they give her. Honestly no one is harder on me than myself!

Congrats on the 2 pound loss! My scale crapped out the other day so I am waiting for a new one to come tomorrow and I will be able to track my progress.

I'm back to being more thoughtful about my eating. One day at a time. Today so far-yogurt, oatmeal and an apple for snack.
 
Today I have been doing very well. I have lots of points left and I'm about to go make dinner. Tonight I'm baking chicken breasts with a sauce from Trader Joe's and making a nice big salad withall fresh veggies I bought the other day. Since I've been eating healthy DS has been eating healthy too which makes me REALLY happy!
