The Randomicles of Threadia: Prince Caspian

It's almost time for another thread.

Which book comes next? The only Narnia book I've ever read was Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

Watching "New York Minute" with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen in it.
Any movie that has those two and includes New York in the title is bound to be a hit in my book.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Prince Caspian
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
The Horse and His Boy
The Magician's Nephew
The Last Battle

books in order.
I do find it a bit strange... considering "The Magician's Nephew" takes place before any of the other books. It tells you how Narnia and the wardrobe came to be. I've only read The Magician's Nephew and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

So... "The Voyage of the Random Thread" ?

Worst of all is Angelica's would-be baby brother. This troper suggests staying away from that episode, "Angelica's Worst Nightmare"... it's not funny.
It begins with Angelica hearing a baby crying and finds her parents fawning over the new baby, saying how "precious" and "adorable" it is while not knowing who Angelica is. After the mom and dad leave, Angelica talks to the baby, and, much in the same matter as Tommy and the gang, Angelica's new baby brother can talk. However, he's more like Family Guy's Stewie minus the evil humor and with a horrifyingly deep and raspy voice, and tells Angelica that this house isn't big enough for the both of them, and says that Angelica (the "old baby") should be gone permanently. Angelica tries to flee from him, but the baby keeps finding her, and growing every time there's an encounter between them. The dream enters its horrifying climax as Angelica's now Godzilla-sized baby brother catches Angelica in her getaway car, wondering "what a toy car would taste like". It all ends with Angelica screaming, "No! You can't eat me, I'm your sister!" with the baby replying, "WELL NOW YOU'RE NUM-NUMS!" and putting Angelica (car and all) in his dark cave-like mouth.
Uuuuggghhh.... That was creepy, and reading about it was even creepier. There are just some things you never get over.

This editor, at age six, went on The Great Movie Ride at Disney-MGM Studios. There's one section that passes through Alien, during which Xenomorphs pop out from randomly-selected positions. One of them is directly above your head. Guess which positions were selected for that run. The worst part was that his mother missed it and, until another trip several years later when she finally caught it, refused to believe that it actually happened.
Oh man, that ride gave this troper a phobia of theme parks! (I've gotten better, although I still don't like going to them.) I remember, when we finally left Disney World I had a nightmare we (for some reason) had to turn around and spent another week there. Worst nightmare ever.
And if your first exposure to said Xenomorph is having it suddenly pop out in front of you, as it was for this editor? You'll jump out of your skin no matter where the freakin' thing comes from.
This troper just mustered up the courage to keep her eyes open during this part of the ride just last week. They must have seriously toned it down, as all the Alien did was sit there and hiss at her. M'eh.
Having revisited the ride recently, this troper can back that up. Too many kids like he used to be freaking out, he guesses.
This troper admits she had her eyes closed during that part, knowing all too well the nature of those movies.
As of June 2009, some of the Aliens are popping out of the walls again, but it's not as many as they used to have, and pretty much only at the people right up front.
This is the person right up front, the person who got an alien in her face. and she laughed. the person next to her was screaming though.
This Troper was less scared of the xenomorph and more scared of the animatronic breaking and falling on her. Only a little bit less, though.

Can I say that I don't like the Great Movie Ride, because I'm a wuss? I keep my eyes closed during the Aliens scene, the Indiana Jones scene freaks me out (especially those moving skeletons on the way out), although everything else is OKish...
