I heard over a 1000 homes have been burned.

We have lots of fires going on here where I live in California, but I'm nowhere near them so I don't need to evacuate at all.

Yes I think the entire Country is worried and devasted about this. It is the first thing that is on our local news is North Carolina.

oh yeah, about the fires. that is so scary. my family lives in california. my aunt lives near where the fires were, a while ago. she had to leave. it was really scary! they were/are safe though! and jan, you are in my prayers!
