my mum told me she still remembers 9/11, and it was my first day back at school from summer, and my dad was in London, so when the first one crashed she called him and said, I think you should come home, something terrible has happened in new york, but he said he would stay for longer. so when he came out of his meeting, nobody would use the tube, so he walked to st Pauls cathedral, and everyone was running around screaming and looking up at the sky, so he quickmarched to the train station, and it was PACKED on the train, because everyone was trying to get as far away from London as they could.

How could you forget his birthday?! LOL, nice

I was in Kindergarten when it happened, and our school went into like a blackout (which was dumb, we're in NC, which even though it's on the East Coast, why would they come here?). So yeah, then we were sent home early.
