i read that book last year. it was pretty good. of couse sparknotes helps sometimes. :thumbsup2

I'm kind of hating it, since we're doing a college-level analysis of it.

I totally 1-up'd my teacher the other day, since I pointed out in chapter 12 it blatantly states who the father of Pearl is ("the scarlet A upon Dimmesdale's chest") and he legitly freaked out.

"No one has ever mentioned that before, they don't usually catch that!"

WIN.

and if my teacher could never, never, NEVER say the word "babydaddy" again, life would be nicer.

OH MY GOD LOL
'some people don't have access to maps...'
'like um, in Iraq and South Africa.'
HOW STUPID DO YOU GET?! xD

"I personally believe that US-Americans are unable to do so because some people in our nation don't have maps"

Woooooow.

You could be like the one that said she supported "opposite sex marriage" and totally contradicted herself.

Which Miss was that?

ha. I knew Dimmesdale was the father all along. I've seen Maury. I know who is and who isn't.

Miss Teen California, I think. The one who caused the whole controversy over her statement about gay marriage.

well, I'mma go log off now and let my bro knwo I'm ready to go off to my dad's house.

From there, I get to:
1. Type up my homework stuff, and print it out and/or send my portions to my friends I split the apush outline with.
2. go to bed (trying to get into better sleeping habits)

The rest of the weekend's plans:
1. SL catch-up
2. Ortho appt.
3. Re-type everything I have on hard copy that was on the flash drive I lost.
4. Buy my new flash drive (& a lanyard so it won't get lost so easily if it's 'round my neck.)
5. Church on Sunday

how exciting.

I think if Shakespeare wasn't dead I would go and kill him xD
I honestly have no idea what he actually means in his plays. to me it's all
BLAHBLAHBLAH THOU BLAHBLAHBLAH ROMEO BLAHBLAHBLAH HAMLET BLAHBLAHBLAH FORSOOTH

etc. xD

ha. I knew Dimmesdale was the father all along. I've seen Maury. I know who is and who isn't.

we actually made that connection.

"We all know Maury wasn't around in this time"

I suggested Chillingworth would be the one to get up dancing at learning he wasn't.

i caught the father in chapter 1, but auuuuuuuuuugh. My teacher treats it like it's the meaning of life we're going to find out.

My Result: Your soul color is Blue
Blue souls will never break their promise. You are the most loyal of them all, and you believe that trust, unity, and loyalt will get you through, come Hell or high water. Outside and in, you are calm and peacful, your inner being connected with the outer ...100%. Trust and being trusted are very important to you, and you have confidence in yourself and those you choose to walk the road of life with. Blues find security in themselves and others. Cleanliness is important, which may have to do with your love of water. And despite all this good stuff, you might be cold and distant, and you also are depressed a lot. The only time your really at peace is when you are in or can see the sky.

haha for real!

Offer the Tag Fairy chocolate, and she might do it!

Meg is doing loads of fb quizzes xD

From the YouTube personality, "Sassy Gay Friend":

" 'Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo?' Translation: 'Desperate. Desperate. I am really desperate. Are there any stalkers on my ground?' " ;)
