The Pursuit of Disney Magic (June 7-14, 2008) ~ UPDATED 9/30 pg. 191

I'm really enjoying reading your Trip within a PreTrip Report! :goodvibes It's really getting me excited for our trip.

After your first post I was expecting some horrible thing to have come from your lips....................I'm disapointed!:lmao: You really shouldn't beat yourself up about it. Believe me, I was born with my foot in my mouth!

My sister once bought me a shirt that said "be sure brain is in gear before engaging mouth". Yeah, I'm loved.

It's coming so fast. After our benchmark tests, we do novel units in all three grades: all three books are ones that I love, and I have a lot of fun with them! I can't wait. Testing starts next week and runs through the following week -- then it's all downhill!

You're going to need a couple of Lapu Lapus a night! Not to mention some Kona coffee in the morning.

Middle school is a tough!

Welcome and thanks for reading! I am headed over to your PTR!

I need one of those shirts -- usually it's much worse when I open my mouth!!!:lmao:

Middle school is a tough!

I'll need something next week, that's for sure!

Middle school can be tough, but I love the kids! There's NEVER a dull moment with them!

I plan to work on writing my trip report.

Good plan!

We aren't allowed to turn our computers on during testing -- it's amazing how much I do on the computer -- grades, lesson plans, email, DIS boards ( ) -- I always feel like I have lost a limb. Hence, the ton of reading material.

I write my reports out long hand at least twice before I post them, so I have my notebooks, and my #2 pencils ready.

I hate to bring a bit of the unhappy to these lovely boards, but is anyone who is flying getting a titch nervous about these airline cancellations?? :scared1:

I don't leave for another 2 months, but I've read on the DIS today where they are people leaving in the next few weeks and wondering if they're going to get there on time or not. I saw some pictures on the news today - tons of people in New York and Chicago, hoping and praying to get on another flight.

I'll try not to be a worry-wart...and am sending happy and loving airline thoughts to any of you who are flying soon! :grouphug:

This is yet ANOTHER reason why I need to move within driving distance of WDW...anyone know of a great community that I could move to? :thumbsup2

Have some back-up #2s -- you know there will be students that don't bother to bring them! :headache:

I have definitely wondered about that too! Is it just American that is grounding so many flights?

Try not to worry too much -- last year there were raging forest fires from Valdosta to Lake City along I-75 about a month prior to our summer trip -- they went on for WEEKS and rerouted interstate traffic. I was soooo stressed wondering how we would get to WDW -- luckily, it was all over by the time we left.

:rotfl2:

After a day with kids, we all need some brain candy!

Agghh -- I just realized that I missed the new Office. Darn it all! Will have to watch that online, I guess!

Brain candy :rotfl: I love it!!!!

I love trash tv. And I read trash on airplanes too. You know, OK!, People, InTouch :lmao:
