I think the point of being cool is not knowing you are cool. For instance, I am a nerd, but in my behavior of being nonchalant in this board I have turned to Joe Cool.

SO if you know you are cool you must not be cool. On the other hand thinking you are not cool means you are cool. Except when a double negative is used so if I don't think I am not cool then I am cool.
