The pull up fairy is coming tonight

My DS 3 in May was just about potty trained up until 2 weeks ago. He completely lost interest and does care if he is wet or messy. So tonight before bed DH told him about the pull up fairy that needs pull ups for boys smaller then him. So he put his pull ups next to his bed and is waiting for a special treat in the morning ( Cars boxer briefs). I sure hope this gets him back on track. He really wants to go to school like his big sister and he is going to be heartbroken when the school year starts and he can't go.

So far (and since my oldest are only six I know I have a long way to go) potty training has been the hardest thing for me. I have six kids and two still wet the bed. I think this is pretty dag gone good. Most of them were stright at two. The two that we the bed are 6 and 4 and both boys. We have tried everything to get them to stop. I hope as they get bigger they will stop. Here's wishing you luck with the car undies...Hey a Mom's gotta do what a Mom's gotta do!

Um yeah, it didn't work. He is so upset and is refusing to let me change him into his big boy pants. He is running around saying the pull up fairy is a mean fairy. Oh the joys of motherhood.

Your idea is similiar to what my daughter did with our yougest grandson. She told him when his last pull-up was gone from the package that she would be buying no more. Well, it worked. BUT, he will be four in August and this just happened in June. Hate to say it, but boys seem harder to train. I think they just don't care if they are wet. Three may be too young for him. Hope things improve though, since he wants to go to preschool.

All his little friends are potty trained and are all going to preschool in the fall. I have a feeling that if he isn't by the first day of school when the bus pulls away with big sister on it, he will be very soon after.
