The PTR where the countdown goes UP. April 15 PTR! COMPLETE!

OMG OMG OMG- 3 days, 19 hours until we land! Yippee!

I got most of the packing done last week- just need the essentials like toothbrushes, contact lens solution, etc. I can probably do even more packing tonight, like sunglasses, under roos, socks, sunscreen, etc. as long as I make sure we have enough clothes for the next few days to wear to work.

We are flying Southwest and didn't see the point in purchasing the early bird thing where you automatically checked in. Therefore I want to check in as close to the 24 hour mark as possible so that we can board the plane somewhat early to help make sure DH and I can sit together. I've never had to sit away from my party and I've flown SW a lot, but who knows. It won't be terrible if we don't sit together, I'd rather a family with kids or older parents stay together, but heck, it would be nice to see my husband! lol.

There is already some pixie dust sprinkled on our trip as our friends who's house we are staying at the night before we fly out (aka: THIS THURSDAY!) received four coupons for FOUR free alcoholic beverage with southwest and offered them to us as they won't be able to use them anytime soon. :rolleyes1 Can we say hello Mimosas?! (Our flight leaves at 7:05am, so I'll try to keep it classy with Mimosa or a Bloody Mary!)

To help pass the time I'm "working" Mon-Thurs this week- let's be honest, I'm doing as little as possible and stalking DISboards! I created tentative plans for our parks day that I'm going to post in two separate posts.. so keep reading! I'll do one final post Wednesday or Thursday (4/9/15) night when everyone else is sleeping I'll be too excited!

MAGIC KINGDOM DAY- Saturday, 4/11
tentative park plans. Although these are definitely not set in stone, I want to make sure we try to do the attractions we are near and not back track. The attractions with astricks are one that are MUST DO's for me:earboy2: (besides the FP+ we have)

- Leave CSR at 5:30pm via Disney bus

- Make our way over to LTT for 7pm reservation. Stopping for pictures, etc on the way if we have time. Try to get FP for Philarmagic*, Peter Pan, Space Mountain

- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad FP 8pm-9pm, so we will head over there immediately after we are done eating

- Stop and watc
h some Wishes if we have time (start at 9pm)

- POTC FP 9:15-10:15 (plan more towards 9:15 time)

- Make our way towards Haunted Mansion stopping at Christmas Shoppe, Countrybear Jamboree

- It's A Small World

- Philarmagic*

- Haunted Mansion FP 10:50-11:50

- Peter Pan (if the wait isn't too crazy- I'm expecting it will be, unless most people are watching the Electrical Parade)

- Under the Sea ride/pictures by Belle's Castle*

- Space Mountain, if I can convince DH to ride, and/or if we get a FP/the wait isn't terrible
- Buzz light year

- Main street shops as we head out* Possibly get a snack somewhere along the way, I'd like to think we'll either get Dole Whips or ice cream.

MK is open until 3am, so I am really hoping that we will have persevered plenty of energy during the day just lounging by the pool

ANIMAL KINGDOM DAY- Sunday, 4/13
I am about 98% sure we will chose AK as our second park (we have two day tickets to force us to relax). The other 2% is going to Epcot- but since we did just Epcot in May 2012, I think AK will win, so I made FP+ reservations for this park.

- Option A: Head to the bus stop around 1:45-2pm. First stop will be FOTLK as we have FP+ for the 3pm show.

- Option B: The less likely of the plans. IF we are going stir crazy from all the relaxing I have planned for us, we will try to leave CSR around noon to catch the 1pm Finding Nemo Musical. Since we plan on sleeping in, we'll probably have a late lunch in the park (Pizzafari) if we do this.
-If we do Option B, we will head to FOTLK after eating to use our FP+ for the 3pm show.

-
Kilimanjaro Safari for our 3:30pm-4:30pm FP+

-Pangani Forest Trails

- 4:45pm Flights of Wonder (can we eat/drink in here? If yes, we'll plan on grabbing something)

- Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch

- Maharajah Jungle Trek

- 6pm-7pm Kali River Rapids FP+

- It's Tough To Be a Bug

*If we go with option B, it doesn't look like we will be getting Finding Nemo in, but that's ok. I LOVE the show but it's not a MUST DO every trip for us.

We plan to exit the park at close to head to AKL for our Boma reservations!

Joining in! You are so close. :woohoo:

We love relaxing on our Disney vacations, too, so I am right there with you as far as lots of pool time and only doing two parks.

Your plans look great! We haven't eaten at Liberty Tree Tavern or Boma before, so I'm eager to see what you think.

So close! We just got back, and saw Flights of Wonder, and I don't think they let people eat in there. Not positive, but I think.

Thanks for the info Irene_dsc! It's so difficult to plan when we may be hungry! haha!

And yes, so close! AH!! #Iwillnotbegettinganyworkdone

Welcome Elleshoodat! We've eaten at LTT before and I've eaten at Boma, but DH has not. I'll definitely be doing a Dining TR as well as well a TR so stay tuned!

Last day of work, people! (clearly I use the term 'work' loosely here :badpc:)

Anyway we leave tonight to drop the pooch off with DMIL and then head to our friends house! I hope to leave work by 3:30pm (it's 1:52pm now).

I got most everything packed last night except a sweatshirt of mine that will be dry by the time I get home from work. We have two carry ons and a back pack. Also have a small LL bean duffle packed for our overnight bag tonight (pajamas and tomorrows outfits), that we will leave in the car. The dog obviously has a bag too... so four bags in total!

I plan on getting ZERO sleep tonight I'm SO excited!! Honestly, the 9 mile drive home tn might be the longest ever!

I hope you all enjoyed our PTR and will stay tuned for our TR and DTR!

Until next time my friends!
