*waves* Hi, I'm Kelly, a 20 year old College student who leaves for the World in 4 days. What's left to be done? Everything. I'm not packed, my itinerary is not complete, I have NO idea how I'm getting to the airport for my 6:30 AM flight. I'm not even sure I told my parents I was going. And yet, instead of doing these things, I sit here, reading trippies and deciding that it was about damn time to start my own.
So, some background. I'm a dis newbie, and a World newbie (sort of) This will be my 3rd trip, my second being March 06, offsite and my first being November 94, in a trailer at FW. I was 9 then. And my March trip had no planning and though it was really really really fun, it was pre-dis and we didn't see nearly as much as we could have and so I'm still calling myself a newbie.
Something else you should know about me - I'm very lengthy. I will write and write and write some more because I enjoy being very detailed. Like, right now, I really want to tell you about my March trip (if I were to write a TR for that trip it would be entitled "The pizza wasn't from Papa Ginos and the CM from Japan saved my life" which is too lengthy a title, don't you think? In fact, this parenthetical is far too lengthy. And so it ends.) but I can't do that because that would be another TR. This TR is about my trip in 4 days. The trip for which I ordered my Bagallini online TODAY. Will it get here in time? Probably not.
By the way, I'm traveling with my best friend, Mary (I feel the need to come up with a new name for her, because thats what everyone else does. I'm very susceptible to peer pressure. I will call her Cinderella because she works very hard, often for very little credit and I hope one day she finds her prince.) She's 20 as well. We met almost 9 years ago and she travelled with me to the World in March. She got me hooked.
We're arriving in Orlando around 11am on Monday (4 days from now....I really should get ready) and we're staying at Coranado Springs. We booked our trip through Expedia (because we're cheap college kids) on June 25th which as you may or may not know, was the very last day that you could book in order to take advantage of the free dining. What can I say? We're procrastinators. We have 4 day PH tickets which we'll probably upgrade once we get there (at the last possible moment, of course) and we'll depart on Friday evening around 10pm.
Having found Dis, I know all the right things to do. I got my TGM plans (10 days before I was supposed to leave) Which meant I needed to change my itinerary. Which meant I needed to change my ADRs which was just about impossible. But it was done. I bought crocs. I bought some 1 gallon freezer bags to store my clothes in. Now all thats left is...everything.
