The Prisoner of Azkaban RP

OOC: I have like one minute but this should help a lot:

Heads of House: They posted on the infoboards that there would be the first Hogsmeade visit of Halloween.

OOC: why we had five, FIVE world takeovers and yet NEVER went to Hogsmeade in the Hogwarts thread I won't EVER understand. I mean I know why we had them, cause B wanted to seem tough and cool and evil and powerful and important and stuff but it was really just tiresome after a while.

Anyways, youngest years can be jealous, third years can be excited, people can decide who they want to go with, older years can think about taking someone special, etc. Don't actually get to Halloween yet though, and if you want to know why, read the book

Logan DunBroch: That sounded really cool. He wished he could go.

Evangeline Thornton: That sounded brilliant, if only she could go!

Mikhailya: Another year yet to wait, so the information wasn't important to her.

Hamilton: He wished he could go with Oliver.

Harry: He wished he could go. Maybe he would talk to McGonagall...

Adriana: Yes! She was excited to go, though she felt bad for Harry.

Imogen: She was excited.

Dean and Seamus and Kathleen: They were excited to go together.

Cassiopeia: She wished she could go, but, having no guardian signed note, she couldn't go.

Nora: This year she could take Neville with her, cool.

Fred: "Excellent. I need to visit Zonko's. I'm nearly out of Stink Pellets."

OOC: straight from the Book quote there

George: He discussed with Fred what else they needed to get.

Brendan: Cool, he could hang out with his friends, maybe get a drink with his sister.

Zara: Nice, she could get some shopping done.

Rose: On a spur of the moment decision, she went outside to see the new flower beds that had been planted the spring before. They were so pretty, she thought as she examined them. Just like Adriana. "It's a white-pink azalea," she said to herself.

Amelia: It didn't take her long to realize that Rose was missing. She left breakfast early and went out to where she thought Rose might be. Without her noticing, Amy walked up next to her and spoke. "I knew I'd find you here. People don't like waiting," she said quickly. "You know that pink right there in the middle, fading out?"

Rose: "It looks pure, in a sweet, pretty way. Pretty like Ana," she said, thinking.

Amelia: She studied her. "It does, doesn't it? So many horrible events take place in our times that we are so very likely to forget that the world is a beautiful place; the people are what make our lives miserable. There are so many rebellious, cruel, hurting people in this world that those who are truly kind and good are beginning to be diminished into nothingness, taking all of the true beauty out of humankind."

Rose: She looked at her. "Yeah, I guess."

Amelia: She noticed Rose frown. "What's wrong?"
Rose: "We had these white lilies in our backyard that died over the summer. They looked sort of like this azalea."

Amelia: "Did they remind you of something?"

Rose: "I guess. Just some old ones I remember planting from my childhood."

Amelia: "I see. Well, if you want, I could find out where to get some of these." Rose admired Adriana, she realized. And she knew why.

Rose: "If you would, I'd like that. Sometimes we put them up next to our stables."

Amelia: "You have horses?"

Rose: Her features became less unhappy as she relaxed. "Just mine and Kira's, since she grew up with it, but I don't mind. Mine's the white one, it's small but it's perfect."

Amelia: "Of course it is," she said. She turned around and went on her way then, a small smile on her face See, she thought, I knew I could get you to smile.

OOC: couldn't remember what color I gave to Amelia, if any, so I just gave her that.

OOC: This makes me really happy for some reason, but Adriana is not at all as perfect as everyone thinks she is.

OOC: Good!
Well, Rose's biggest strength is her morals. She knows right from wrong, good from bad, so that was just bound to be so.

OOC: Quote of the day:

"Harry nodded and sighed. leaving this place would not be nearly as hard as walking Ito the forest had been, but it was warm and light and peaceful here, and he knew that he was heading back to pain and the fear of more loss. E stood up, an Dumbledore did the same, and they looked for a long moment into each other's faces(DH722)."

Very defining moment of Harry's character here, folks. I feel like it would have been so easy to have moved on, to leave pain and hurt and be with the older figures who cared about you. Same with the walk into the forest.

McGonagall: Class was wrapping up. "One moment please! As you're all in my house, you should hand Hogsmeade permission forms to me before Halloween. No form, no visiting the village, so don't forget!"

Neville: "Please, Professor, I - I think I've lost-"

McGonagall: "Your grandmother sent yours to me directly Longbottom. She seemed to think it was safer. Well, that's all, you may leave. McKinnon, a word."

Harry, Ron and Hermione: They gave Adriana a strange look.

Ron: "Ask her now."

Hermione: "Oh, but-"

Ron: "Go for it, Harry!"

Harry: He approached McGonagall.

McGonagall: "Yes, Potter?"

Harry: "Professor, my aunt and uncle - er - forgot to sign my form. So - er - d'you think it would be all right - I mean, will it be okay if I - if I go to Hogsmeade?"

McGonagall: "I'm afraid not Potter. You heard what I said. No form, no visiting the village. That's the rule."

Harry: 'But - Professor, my aunt and uncle - you know, they're muggles, they don't really understand about Hogwarts forms and stuff. If you said I could go-"

McGonagall: "But I don't say so. The form clearly states that the parent or guardian must give permission. I'm sorry Potter, but that's my final word. You had better hurry, or you'll be late for your next lesson."

Harry, Hermione and Ron: They left.

Adriana: She approached the desk. "You wanted a word Professor?"

McGonagall: "Yes. Take a seat, McKinnon."

Adriana: She sat slowly, suspiciously.

McGonagall: "Your godfather and I have had a discussion about various things. And, we have come to an agreement that until Sirius Black leaves the area, you will be barred from going to Hogsmeade."

Adriana: "WHAT?! Remus - Professor Lupin signed the form and gave it to you! You can't just revoke it because somebody suddenly got cold feet!"

McGonagall: "We aren't revoking it, simply putting it on hold until the Black situation is dealt with. I'm disappointed you don't seem to be taking this seriously."

Adriana: "Of course I'm not. Sirius Black isn't dumb enough to pull something at Hogsmeade, not with the dementors and people around! I'd be safe!"

McGonagall: "Adriana McKinnon, haven't you considered the fact that your father is most likelyt a psyhopath, and has probably made you one of his main targets in his insanity?"

Adriana: She was stunned. "He's my father. He wouldn't hurt me."

McGonagall: "I don't want to think he would either, but Adriana, he betrayed Lily and James Potter and killed a lot of people."

Adriana: "It's not fair!"

McGonagall: "McKinnon! We're trying to keep you safe!"

Adriana: "No you're not! Why don't you call me Black, Professor? Clearly you think I should be locked up, just like my father was!"

McGonagall: "Adriana Polaris McKinnon, that is not the case! You are being rude and disrespectful! Do I need to call your godfather in here?"

Adriana: "No. No you don't. Now, if you'll excuse me Professor, I have some Black family business to attend to, like, oh, I don't know, practice Dark magic," Adriana said coldly and stormed towards the door.

McGonagall: "Adriana!"

Adriana: Adriana slammed the classroom door behind her.

Hermione: She waited back for Adriana. "Everything all right?"

Hermione: She waited back for Adriana. "Everything all right?"

Adriana: She made a great effort not to snap. She took a deep breath and schooled her face. "Everything's fine Hermione. Just business." Hopefully Hermione would head off to class and Adriana would fall behind 'accidentally' and skip the rest of her classes.

Hermione: "All right," she said, not pressing. For just a moment she slipped away, worked the time turner, and walked right back to them.

OOC: Quote of the day:

"One always hesitates to invade the privacy of young people, but the fact is that anyone closely connected with Harry Potter reaps the benefits and must pay the penalty of public interest. No doubt Potter will be distressed to know that his sixteen-year-old godson Teddy Lupin – a lanky half-werewolf with bright blue hair – has been behaving in a way unbefitting of wizarding royalty since arriving on the VIP campsite. It might be asking too much that the always-busy Potter keep a tighter rein on this wild boy, who was entrusted to his care by his dying parents, but one shudders to think what will become of Master Lupin without urgent intervention. Meanwhile, Mr and Mrs Bill Weasley might like to know that their beautiful, blonde daughter Victoire seems to be attracted to any dark corner where Master Lupin happens to be lurking. The good news is both of them seem to have invented a method of breathing through their ears. I can think of no other reason how they have survived such prolonged periods of what, in my young day, was called ‘snogging.’"

Adriana: She subtly made herself scarce, and started avoiding class.

OOC: Diagonal Alley opens today!

OOC: Awesome!

OOC: That's hilarious.

Wings, are you still doing chemical alley? I have nothing for David to do at the moment, so yeah.
