Mara: Mara was in the library, reading up about something important. She didn't wish to be disturbed now.

Reece: Reece walked from her common room to the library, hoping to find Mara inside. She hadn't seen her sister all day.

Shane: Shane was outside. He was considering looking for someone to talk to.

Sophia: Sophia was hiding, watching Shane with interest.

Scarletta: Scarletta was exhausted. She wondered if there were any first years around to mess with.

Sophia: Sophia took a deep breath and came from around the corner she was hiding behind to talk to Shane. She said, "Good afternoon."

Shane: Shane gave Sophia a nod of acknowledgement and then recognized her in an instant. He waved. "Hey Sophia."

Sophia: "Listen, I hope you don't think I'm creepy or anything, I just came by to formally apologize for bumping into you. If I had known that you were right there, I promise I would have stopped."

Shane: "Nah, I just hit my head on the floor, no other damage there. And you didn't do anything wrong, no need to apologize for anything."

Sophia: "I just-" she paused. Sophia gulped. "-wanted to-um-"

Shane: "You don't have to apologize. It was my fault."

Sophia: Not again. "I wanted-" Sophia blurted out, "to talk!"

Sophia: "Anything! How has your life been since last year?"

Shane: "I don't like my family all that much. It's not that I hate them, but it's hard to do anything without being yelled at."

Sophia: "I guess I can kind of relate. I've been kept inside all summer, not really able to do much."

Shane: "How's your life?"

Sophia: "Better, now that I'm back at Hogwarts. You know."

Shane: "Yeah, I'd much rather be here than anywere else. Just here."
