OOC: lol
OOC: When I grow up I'm going to need a professional decision maker, no joke
OOC: Inspirational quote! "Today is a new day." ~ Chicken Little.![]()
OOC: lol
OOC: I kiddeth you not.
What would you do if you had one thing you could do, but there was another thing, and it was just as great? This world has too many possibilities!
Tonight's episode of Anney's Ludicrous Problems pertains to her inability to decide between the several options for her RP characters.
I could be a TV show.
OOC: lol, I have come across many a crossroads in RPs.
You can always ask for help
You know what I miss? Your HP quote of the day. Silly, eh?
OOC: That's the annoying part, because I can't ask for help.
See, I go to Bri and Brandon for the things that will affect their charries or when I need someone to talk me out of something (they're really good at that, if you ever need it). I go to you when there's something I need in terms of good story plotting/writing because you're good at that stuff and you've been here the longest. This is one of those things where I'd probably go to you, but unfortunately I can't do that because to tell you would be to reveal information I'm not ready to reveal. See? That's what's annoying.
Oh, dear, we cannot have that. I stopped because I ran out of good quotes, but alas, we shall start again tomorrow!
OOC: If you really need to, just give me the barest bones, like not even mentioning who the character is.
Or don't even actually reveal the situations, just ask me some related hypothetical questions that might help.
Cool. Maybe we could take turns
OOC: okay, okay. Let's see...
Say you had a character and you needed to reveal something about him/or herself to him/her. You're not sure how this might affect the character, and you think you might do something that, in that case, it would need to be revealed either before that or not at all because it wouldn't work out.
How do you decide what to do?
That'd be fun if you're all up for it.
OOC: Well, let's look at Adriana for a moment.
Lupin explained a lot of her life on her 11th bday, but doesn't yet believe that Sirius is innocent. During Christmas of 1st year, Adriana found a journal belonging to her father, which revealed everything Lupin hadn't told her and that her father was innocent. That threw Adriana for a loop. Everything she thought she knew had been shattered.
A tool like that, a journal or record, is highly convenient. Or I'd go with what I call the Rapunzel Route, the sudden epiphany/remember/realization.
There's not a lot of other ways I can think of learning something about yourself for yourself. I guess there's eavesdropping/spying too.
Okay, thanks. One more, and I think I'll be good.
After a very long time of pleading, your school comes in possession of a very prized possession, and you friend steals it, claiming to take very good care of it. A few days later, however, she loses the document and cannot find it anywhere. Your friend is too proud to admit it's gone missing, probably forever, and you know you have to tell the owners soon because it's the right thing to do. The owners have been through a lot, and you find out that that possession belonged to their son who died at war. How do you go about telling them?
OOC: Well, I myself would just be ashamed/guilty about it, but just tell them, admitting that I'm sorry and msade a mistake and will do my best to find it
OOC: Okay, interesting. Thanks again
Kairi: "Since, like, halfway through my first year," she admitted.Darren: He put his arms around Kairi and pulled her onto his lap. "You said you've had a crush on me for some time? How long?"
Kairi: "Since, like, halfway through my first year," she admitted.
Kairi: She laughed and rolled her eyes. "Even though I thought dating was gross back then, I still had a little crush."Darren: He chuckled. "Wow, Kai."
Kairi: She laughed and rolled her eyes. "Even though I thought dating was gross back then, I still had a little crush."
