Oliver: He smiled. "You're welcome." He looked around. He couldn't wait for the feast to start, he needed some chocolate pudding.

Kairi: She felt her face turn slightly pink. "Thanks," she said. "Can't wait for the season to start." She flashed a look over her shoulder. "I wanna stick it to Slytherin."

Kairi: She stifled a small giggle. "I had a Chocolate Frog," she said. "It does help." She nodded. "Yeah, my friend Lark's little brother, Jack, he's a first year- he was terrified. Not a good way to start the year, huh?"

Kairi: She nodded. Then, the doors opened. "Ah, looks like the Sorting's starting!"

Jack: Jack had stood (impatiently) with the other first years. Professor McGonagall had told them about the Sorting, and now she was leading them up to the front of the hall. Jack felt his face turned pink as he looked around at all the people watching in the Great Hall. Professor McGonagall placed the hat on a stool. It sang a song, which Jack hardly paid attention to. (OOC: I'd list the song, but here I am, too lazy to type it all lol.) Then, McGonagall began to call up the first years.

Jack: Finally, McGonagall came to him. "Wilson, Jack!" she called. His legs feeling rubbery, Jack stepped up. Professor McGonagall put the Sorting Hat on his head. "Hmm... let's see..." The Hat said. After a few seconds...

"HUFFLEPUFF!"

The Hufflepuff table cheered as Jack put the hat back on the stool and walked down to join his House, grinning. He gave a small wave to Lark and Kairi.

Lark: Beaming, waved to her brother. "Nice job!" she mouthed.

Kairi got a (small) piece of chicken, then got some mashed potatoes. "I'm ready to not having to cook my meals."
