I don't know anything about either of those cruises, but both sound great! And on the Fantasy! Woo Hoo! The kids were wanting to go on the Fantasy after seeing all those commercial type in-between-show-shows they were putting on Disney Channel a few months ago.

And I think the Poly would be a beautiful setting for your pictures.

Congrats on your Broncos' win last night - even though it was a loss for us. Y'all are lucky you got that interception!

Hey, Kimmy!! So excited you started a PTR! I totally remember you writing that Garrett's hockey coach was Patrick Roy on Jenny's PTR and I freaked out! I'm a huge Rangers fan, but my brother has been an Avs fan since birth (have no idea why, since we grew up/both still live in the NYC suburbs ) and his fav player of all time is ROY! He was sooo jealous when I told him!
The cruise, either itinerary, sounds great. Honestly though, after a week with that many other people, you'll be glad the others dropped out of a week of Disney! You'll be craving alone time with your guys!
I think the Poly will be perfect for your photoshoot-- I wish I could convince Zach to do one!
Ahhh, I LOVE Monster's Inc! I saw both the Lion King and BATB in 3D and honestly didn't care about the 3D, it was more about seeing them on the big screen. I feel the same about Monster's Inc-- cannot wait!

Yay!! I'm so glad you are here!! It was easy to be an Avs fan back in the Patrick Roy days!! Those days were fun. we have sports memorabilia all over our house and the majority of our hockey wall is Roy. We even have one of his game used, signed sticks. Then of course a picture of Garret's team with Roy coaching. It's good stuff!

For some reason, Garret's dad seems to want to go after the 7th, and the closest cruise date to that would be the 9th...which is a cruise that covers both Valentine's Day and Mardi Gras! Could be a good time! I think both itinerary sound fine. Until I experienced both myself, I think it would be hard to say which was better for me!

It's always so exciting when Disney re-releases things. Yeah, we have them all, yeah we know all the words. But still, there is something magical about seeing it on the big screen. I still can't wait. It will be so awesome.

I'm so excited for all the 3D releases of movies. I always see them! Finding Nemo on Friday!!! Monsters Inc will be amazing in 3D too!!

Dang girl, any of those three locations would be amazing! They're all so beautiful.

Yay for Finding Nemo! I can't wait for that one. It'll get me really hyped for the cruise!

I think we might take Reya to see Finding Nemo 3D... She won tickets to Lion King 3D through Radio Disney at the zoo last year and I was REALLY disapointed. I'm hoping the Pixar movies will be better. Monsters Inc is my favorite too... It used to be CARS until Jayden made me watch it over and over and over agin the last 2 months.

I'm so proud of our Broncos!!!! That was one sweet game! My husbands best friend Sarah has season tickets and I've begged her to let us buy a pair of tickets from her. She's the BIGGEST Bronco fan I've ever met. Like Psycho scary.

A friend of mine years ago, used to be neighbors with Joe Sakic. That's when the Av's were at their finest. Anyway, I guess he would go out and play street hockey with the neighborhood kids often. ((How cute is that?))

I can imagine that Pixar movie are better. They do animation differently so I think that has to make a big difference. I was wowed by TS 1 & 2 when they were re-released. It's gotta be that computer animation!! I have vowed not to watch Monsters Inc until December so it'll be EXTRA exciting! I'm not sure when we'll do Nemo, but I'm going to try to squeeze it in!

Those Broncos were looking good! I LOVED IT. Such a good game! Oh man, I wish I had season tickets! I'm a pretty big Bronco freak too. Like it's bad. I always have these stories of me with Broncos players because I go to the events and just end up having crazy interactions! Like every time Demaryius Thomas has the ball, I tell everyone about the time I touched his abs! And I joined the Ladies Fan Club as a VIP just so I could get Broncos champagne flutes. Definitely one of my prized possessions!!

That's awesome that you were neighbors with Sakic! I bet that was fun! That makes me smile that he would play with the kids. What a great childhood memory for them to have!

So in football news, the Broncos won our season opener at home! That made me so happy! I really, really love football. The other good news is that not only did I win each fantasy league I am in, but I was top scorer in both! I know it's only week 1, but I am thrilled. I get really competitive.

Yesterday at work, we released the Designer Villans stuff, including the Malificent doll. She is my favorite one! That was so fun! Before all that started, I got to talk all morning with a lady who is taking her kid to WDW for the first time. SO GREAT THAT I HAVE A JOB WHERE I CAN DO THAT! And she's staying at the Beach Club! I was a bit jealous.

I've been looking at the new Disney Store Christmas collection online today. Am I the only one completely OBSESSED with ornaments and holiday decor? I think I added like 6 to the wish list, though I really wanted to just add them all! I cannot believe it is September all ready! Here is my upcoming life timeline:

September 18th - interview #3 for a job
September 21st - I get the iPhone 4 from my dad! So exciting. I miss having a smartphone!
September 22nd - my marathon...um, yeah. We'll see if that happens.
October 21st - Garret & My 1 Year Anniversary We have reservations at La Fondue...it's a place like the Melting Pot! YUM!
October 31st - Halloween! Garret as Wreck-It Ralph, me as Vanellope von Schweets, and Landon as Fix-It Felix!
November 2nd - Wreck-It Ralph is released!
November 6th - Landon turns 4!!
November 17th - I can book my cruise!!!!
November 22nd - Thanksgiving! Making the rounds to all our families, probably playing some casual flag football with our league!
November 23rd - Black Friday! I'll probably have to work, but I will definitely also shop!
December 19th - Monsters, Inc. in 3-D!
December 25th - Christmas!! More rounds to all the families
December 31st - New Years!
Approximately February 7th through 21st - FLORIDA...cruise, WDW, etc!

Lol so I have nothing going on for the time being in January. But I am sure I will need ALL that time to prepare the 3 of us for a 2 week trip! We've never gone on one that long!! So exciting!!

The No-Fun, Life-Is-Expensive Post.

Here are things that are going to be eating up my money that's NOT Disney related:

Car Registration...I don't even know how much. In our state, it all depends on how old your car is, what kind, etc. I think that'll be a least a couple hundred $$$.

New Tires...My tires have been bad for a while. I really should've taken care of this a looooooooooong time ago. I didn't. One of my tires blew out. I'm currently driving Garret's grandma's car. So I desperately need those.

A camera...this has NOT been our year with portable electronics. I previously have only had to get a new phone from ruining it ONCE in my life. This year I already have twice, within like a month of each other. Then someone stole Garret's phone! (But returned the wallet with cash. ) Eventually, he got it back, but they had messed it all, stole the SIM card, etc. And then we went to the zoo a few months ago and I lost my camera! This was soooooo sad. I had GREAT pics on there, from that day especially. So any camera recommendations out there would be GREAT. Nothing too fancy though...I would love to do that one day, but just don't have the funds right now.

Hey guys! How was everyone's weekend?

Garret went camping with some friends this weekend while I stayed home and had Disney fun with Landon! I didn't have work but still took him to the Store and he got to open it and "wake up the magic"! So fun! Then they were having a Jake & the Neverland Pirates board game and he played that too-he got the winning spin! It was so great. After that, we went to see Finding Nemo in 3D! It was great! I had so much fun with Landon this weekend!

Our weekend here was good! On Saturday, DH and I took DD to the Airpower over the Midwest air show on Base (DH is in the Air Force)! A few highlights were seeing the B2 Bomber flyover (my absolute favorite aircraft), a parachuter jump holding an enormous American flag while the National Anthem played, and a performance from the USAF Thunderbirds!!! So many other great performers and displays too! We had such a wonderful time! If you ever have the opportunity to see the Thunderbirds perform, do so! It's a mind blowing show...the things they can do in an F-16 is incredible!

OKW will always hold a special place in my heart since that's where we met you and handsome little Landon for the first time, even if he didn't want to talk to me Anyway, I'm sosososooooo happy and excited for you for 1) getting the Disney store job and 2) having TWO trips for next year!!! Yay!!! I'm praying we'll get to go next year...my persuasion skills are pretty sharp so I'm hoping we'll be able to...maybe in October/November/December when you guys go!

I miss you a lot too!! OKW was the best with you!! I cherish those trip memories so much!! Landon is shy when it's a new people and a semi-new place! If you came over to our place, he would be your best friend and bring you all his toys and not leave you alone for a second!

Ahh I love working at the Disney Store. I've already told you just how awesome it is! I love it!! Two trips is going to be so fun!! It is so sad that I haven't been for over a year! And I would LOVE LOVE LOVE if we could coordinate plans again!! We would have such an awesome time! You guys will adore Garret!

I have always been so intrigued by cruising! It just seems like a boatload of fun! (Awful pun? Too bad.) I do really, really, REALLY want to do the cruise idea I told you. The cast of characters could even be mixed and matched too with our sweethearts or whatever. I just don't know when. I want to saw next year but then I feel like planning 3 trips for one year when I don't even have a fulltime job yet is pretty crazy!

I am so obsessed with Wreck-It Ralph. I can't even explain it. I just LOVE EVERY SINGLE SECOND of every part I've seen. I'm sure I'm going to love it so much. He's like already my new favorite character. You can play the game he is in online and you get to be Felix and fix everything Ralph wrecks. I had to stop because I could not handle how when I would win they would throw Ralph off the building! It was too hard to handle!

We love Jason Aldean over here! Obviously. Can't believe it's been almost a year since that concert! So magical.

I'm so glad you liked Finding Nemo more in 3D!! I know a lot of people don't like paying for a movie you already know by heart, but it just really adds to the magic to turn it into an event kinda thing. It's just so much more special than watching at home! I love it! OH MAN! I don't know if I could hold off on Wreck-It Ralph...I'm already obsessed. It's crazy.

Last week was awful. The fact that Peyton played at his very worse and we still only lost by one score really shows how great our team is. If we hadn't put them literally ON the goal line a few times, our defense may have even held them. I'm not too worried. And yes, all the bandwagoners should just go away. Go be Jets fans or anything. (Biggest pet peeve EVER is people who were lifelong Broncos fans, born in raised here and now suddenly sport vomit green because one guy got traded. It annoys me to no end, but I'm glad those people are no longer tainting the Broncos fan-dom.)
