Hey I love those chucks! So cute. I wore custom ones under my gown when I got married. I would post a pic, but for some reason I can't find the CD with the wedding pics. Lame. Good thing I already scrapbooked them, huh?

Yay for October at WDW! I'm sure it will work out...one of the ways that it gets planned! Love that time of year at WDW. Not nearly as crowded as DLR is. This last October was insane! But, it's closer and cheaper and wonderful Disney magic, so I go there and love it. Just wish I knew when the next time was...

What a great update!!!!

New ticker.....new dates.......new trip......new pre PTR! New pink converse sneakers (well almost, but you'll reach the big 5 - 0 by next week, so those sneaks are in the bag).

OK - now I have to memorize those dates, because I promised Jen that we would be riding EE 5X together in the dark next fall (OK - not 5 times, but I told her I was good for at least 2X - It's Jen that can ride 5X in a row, not me ).

That's a tad later than I wanted to go, but I can adjust. It's so in the heat of soccer season, but...what they heck! I'm flexible! I really do want to hit F&W solo, so I want my visit to conincide with the rest of the gang!

Anyway....a big shout out to Marc......GOOD LUCK tomorrow!!!!!! You've got a great, experienced nurse to help you out!

Hey....I just thought of something.....I would like to see a picture of those sneaks with Cynthia's (eandesmom) tink bag. Would they go together or am I confusing the colors. Remember, I am old and forgetful!

Should be a great time of year to go! I wanted to go later in October next year, but unfortunately they are planning the 1/2 marathon for early in the month. I wanted to be there for my birthday.

He's feeling good. He just indulged in chinese food for his "last supper". I tried to convince him to drink some soda so I could do some virtual drinking but he didn't bite.

I had an awful day at work today.

It was so awful that I was convinced that I was going to start job hunting...then reality sets in...health insurance...maternity leave...money. BOO!

Sigh.

I feel much better now that I'm home. Thank goodness I have a few days off to get myself back in the right frame of mind.

I'm a little anxious about Marc's surgery tomorrow. I think I more anxious about dealing with MIL in the waiting room. She can be on the obnoxious side. Marc's surgery actually got moved up an hour and I'm not reminding him to call his Mom and tell her. Does that make me a bad wife? She wasn't sure if she'd get there in time to see him before they took him in anyways so I don't think it will be a big deal. I am so thankful that my Mom will be there as a buffer.

I told Anita that I would post more wedding photos and because I'm in a lovey dovey mood I'm going to post them tonight.

We were married June 28, 2008 at Prescott Park in Portsmouth, NH. The same park my parents were married at July 28, 1979. My Mom made my dress. My Aunt Heidi took the photos. Marc's Aunt made the cake.

Those earrings were my grandmother's...she passed away when I was 13.

My parents standing where they had their wedding ceremony. We had ours in a different place so each couple had their "own spot".

My mom did ALL that beading on my dress!

We had a trolley shuttle guests to the park from the parking garage. One of my favorite memories is riding the trolley with the wedding party and Marc to the ceremony. The trolley driving was blasting "Going to the Chapel" and we drove through downtown Portsmouth and everyone was looking. It was really sweet.

Our reception hall, it actually used to be a German restaurant and now a caterer owns the building.

Marc & I (mostly Marc) decoupaged the bird houses for the center pieces. Each table was a bird name along with a hotel, inn or something along those lines.

We had a garden theme for our reception so we painted a gnome and frog at a pottery place.

The birdcage was our wedding card holder. The book next to it was our version of a guest book. With our wedding invitation we sent everyone two 8x8 scrapbook pages and asked them to do whatever they wanted to the pages for us. We got some really great things, pictures of us, pictures of family, memories, poems, etc. Marc's cousin drew this great picture of just two hands holding. My Aunt Heidi gave me a page on my Wedding day of my grandmother who passed away saying how she would be with me that whole day, made me SOB. I love looking at the book, it's such a great thing to have to remember who was at our wedding.

And this is my favorite picture from that day...I had stumbled and threw out my foot and then my Aunt made me do it again for a picture.

*I have to sleep with a fan on every night.

I like a fan or an air conditioner myself...


*Marc & I were married in the same park my parents were married in.

OK-too cute...


*I have a light fixture obsession that developed at Disney in September 2008. I've been known to whip out my cell phone camera in local restaurants.

Hmm...yes and you've spread that obsession to the rest of us...how many of us have taken a photo of a light fixture now too?...


*I'm one of those Twilight obsessed people. I loved the books and can't wait for New Moon to come out.

Me too...I love Carlisle and Edward and put a shirt on that Taylor Lautner for God's sake-he's just barely legal...so wrong...


*I love History. LOVE it. I get this love from my Dad. One thing I do love about Massachusetts are all the historical sights. I plan on seeing more next year when it's not so cold.

I love History too and can't wait to see you doing "living history" next year...


*I had gastric banding surgery on August 26th. So far I have lost 43lbs since July 6th, which is when I enrolled in the Surgical Weight Loss Program. Marc is having his surgery this WEDNESDAY! He's lost 40lbs since joining the program.

That is awesome...Yeah you and Marc...


*I love to read. If you have any good book suggestions, fire away!

LL - beautiful wedding pictures!! It looks lovely. Although I did have a "oh my gosh I'm old" moment when you said your parents were married there in 1979!!! I was 11!!!


Best wishes for Marc's surgery - I am sure you will both be fine!! Less time with in-laws who aren't super pleasant is a better thing! And just think, you didn't even have to "not remind" Marc!! Nothing bad on you there!!

My wedding was similiar, I wore my Mom's wedding dress and my grandmother made our wedding cake too, Todd and I made our table decorations, as well! Love that!! What a beautiful day you had, love the color you chose, too!!!

I can't believe MIL and FIL won't be there tomorrow until late!!! What's the point?!! Well, look at it this way, one less thing you need to worry about, you can give all your attention to Marc and worry about them later. I'll be praying at lunchtime tomorrow for a quick, easy surgery for him and a quick recovery!! Keep us posted, if you can!!!!
