I received a post card from AKSNOPEA yesterday! She sent it from Anchorage, Alaska, and you can see the city with Mt. McKinley in the background. Very pretty! Thanks!

How lucky I am to have had yet another postcard waiting for me as I opened my mailbox today. Regi sent me a wonderful postcard with crawfish on it and my tummy is growling just looking at it.

Oh I'm so silly - I never thought to mention on any of my cards that I live in Germany! I never even thought about it and it really isn't obvious unless you recognise the language.
Jennifer - if you know where your dad's family comes from, let me know and I'll tell you if I've been there. I'm really glad the cards were so well received!
Nutsy - you're the BEST!!! I still can't believe how well you did all this, it's an administrative nightmare. Thankyou SO much for doing all this for us!

This is a public apology to my two postcard recipients, jldriscoll and dalhound. I am so truly sorry that I was late in mailing out my postcards. I was unable to access the DIS for the past two full weeks! Yes, that's right, 14 days! Can you imagine?!! (It was horrible, I need therapy now!) Anyway, due to an ISP routing problem, I was unable to access the DIS to get to my PM's to print out their addresses. I am not the type of person to not fulfill their end of an exchange. I have participated in many DIS exchanges and have always sent out my package in plenty of time. I know how it feels to be the one that doen't get a package, because it happened in one of the exchanges to me.
I am not a "bad egg."

I am very sorry you have had to wait. Your postcards were sent out on Monday.

I have received three very nice postcards from Jennifer. Thanks very much.

I feel the need to appologize to the organizers of the calander and postcard exchange. I know I came across rather rudely, and I really didn't mean to and feel very bad about it. My Fibromialgia has been very, very bad lately and I have not been able to get any relief, or sleep as a result. Needless to say it is making me very cranky, overly sensitive, and sometimes down right mean in the way I speak to people. I appologize for the way I have come across in my posts. I guess I should have explained myself better reguarding my requests for spacific places. I was lucky to be able to take a nice trip to the USA. I was on a very tight budget, and there was not room for a lot of extras. To make a long story short, my video camera broke, and my camera was stolen, so I have no pictures of the places that I was able to go to remind me of my trip. This is why I was requesting certain places. I also want to apologize to KimRaye for having been rude and nasty to her during the postcard exchange. Again with my fibro flaring up worse then it has ever been....... I just was so looking forward to these exchanges, for the reason I stated above, and because being unable to do anything lately the mail is the high light of my day, it can make all the differance on a really bad day. Once again, I am really sorry to everyone I offended, I am just not myself these days....
