Aww what an awesome last surprise for Vicki...I love Akersuch, we've only ever done it for dinner but it was delicious and the princesses were fantastic.

It looks like you had such a great trip. But it's so funny, I was reading your prom report and I was so surprised when you said you went to Niagara Falls! I am from Buffalo and that's where we went after my prom too!!

Never have eaten at Akershus, but then again I have two boys and they cringe at the sight of princesses. I am glad that Disney has begun to have special places like this for the princesses though. The boys have always had great places to go and still do. Great trip report. I enjoyed reading along with you. Definitely fills the void until our Christmas trip this year.

We love Akershus for breakfast...not so much for lunch and dinner...but love the breakfast...that potato casserole is beyond delicious! I love that Vickie was so excited....I get excited too when I see the princesses....I guess that will never go away!

I can't believe empty EPCOT was even on the before hours. I would imagine there would be a gazillion dining ADRs for breakfast that there'd be at least some people besides you walking. It almost looked deserted. You could put that picture as "Disney Parks Abandoned Day 1" Haha And to the shirts! It sounds like you had fun at Akershus, but before we go into that I must rant... I do agree with you on the over-merchandising since she is new and I think the marketing ploy doesn't make her look good, but I think she is just as good as the classic princesses. Rapunzel and her are going to be classics for awhile since they had such great characters in their movies. I'm a huge Princess and the Frog fan, so I must stand up for her. End of rant... So your breakfast looks very good. Those Cinnamon buns look GOOD, but it doesn't look like any Mickey waffles were made and I don't think, after having them everyday on my last trip, I could live without having them every day on my trip. No way! (; Well, can't wait to hear more about your last day! Update ASAP!

And yes, we're sort of close to there. Niagara Falls is a cool place. It's a little while away from me but pretty close. But I feel like people who live close take it for granted. Because I have only been there like 4 or 5 times in my life haha

Well, they were just starting to become popular. I got my first one when I was a sophomore in college, so maybe 6 years ago now? And I got it on a super sale so it was $200...and the quality was not the same as it is now! Oh! And the memory card? I think it was 56mb! So small! I was still one of the first of my friends to even get a digital camera Now I'm replacing mine on my next trip with my phone!! Crazy!!

Haha that is SO funny! I think I remember when my babysitter got one and I thought it was the coolest thing! That was back in the early 2000's. Good times. And wow haha technology just keeps advancing! Who knows what they'll think of next?

Prince Charming looked like he could be my brother. But oh well. The characters were all great, even if some of them doubled up... But I definitely liked that one girl better as Ariel than Cinderella, but she was great at being both! She was gorgeous, she really could be any princess! And yeah we spent like an hour tops at DTD, but whatever. I was like in a daze at that point lol. And we thought that diaper in the hallway was SO FUNNY. We were delirious by then. And you running away from a fire.... Seriously you were like "Na na na, wheeree's our room??!!? La da da...WOOPS." Love you.

And yeah, I agree. She looked like she was ariel peeled right out of the movie!
And yeah, I was too tired to concentrate on shopping. But we were FUNNYY that night haha.

The school I went to for high school always had a school spnsored post prom where we took a coach bus up to chicago, which is about a half hour-an hour from where I live, and we took a cruise out on lake michigan from navy pier and they just took the boat in one huge circle for a couple of hours. It was really pretty and I loved it. Actual prom was really fun 2 though. Glad the weather was nice for you! I would have felt so bad for you otherwise. I know all about terrible spring weather this year. a couple of days ago it was in the 80's and now we are dealing with the 50's.

Yay for empty Epcot! We had a late ADR for Tokyo Dining once and walked back to the monorail with NO ONE else in the park!
I'd love to try Akershus someday... I too am a Disney princess. Although I love Tiana, I'm loving the fresh face and I would have totally wanted her dress as a little girl!

Isn't that the coolest thing? Epcot is awesome when it's empty, especially because it's so big. It just seems even more massive when there's no one there!
And yes, you should definitely go there then!
And haha oh Tiana. I would like her better if she branched off into her own merchandise line. I mean her dress is sort of cute and she seems like a nice enough girl. Personally, if I was a little girl, I would probably get Jasmine's outfit. Or Belle's. Super cute. I wish I was a child!

Although, I completely agree, we got up there and didn't stay long. I mean, it's cool and all but there's not much to do in the middle of the night. Plus, the falls don't even show up in the pictures. But I guess it uses up the limo time! I'm sorry it rained for you!

And yes we bought them in Disney! They're all available at several locations (since everywhere carries basically the same stuff). I know that I got mine at World of Disney, I know you can get Kristen's outside of Epcot at one of those little stands or probably in MouseGear, and Vick's you can get near Toy Story Mania or Buzz Lightyear. Disney has the cutest attire EVER!

And yes, we do have a prom! It's June 10th. It's sort of nice, because I had the opportunities to go to both proms. So if you have friends at the boys school, you can go with them. And then you can bring whoever you want to your own prom! It works really well!

Yeah the only area that had any people in it was Norway, and it was for the breakfast! I think because everyone came in the front entrance, the world showcase was DESERTED.
And oh, I think they're fine as characters, but I just think the merchandise should be separate. They aren't really "classic" princesses, they're like "new" princesses. So, I just wish they wouldn't invade the norm of the Princess merch. with someone new. I mean, they haven't made a new princess since the 90's, and the regular line up is who I've known my whole life. I don't wanna change it. hahaha. But yeah, end of rant.
And oh they were DELICIOUS! I had so many carbs at that meal it was ridiculous LOL. But it was worth it. And no, surprisingly they didn't have any mickey waflles! However, I was very pleased anyway. If you ever can spare one morning without a mickey waffle, this is a good place to go!

I LOVED your bathrobe pictures. I would totally do that. In fact...I've come close. My last trip, I bought one of the bathrobes from the Tower of Terror giftshop and then put it on and walked through the line and rode the ride wearing it. I pretended I was a guest at the Hollywood Tower Hotel and was looking for the pool. It was hilarious. Everyone thought I was nuts!

Oh and potato casserole is definitely the best thing ever. I am so in love with that stuff...it's so heavenly! I'm also obsessed with the dinner at 1900 Park Fare too...so many delicious options!!

I'm going to have to go over and read your February report now!!
