Have to 100% agree! We love it there. We have tried others, and nothing comes close to the Poly in any way!

We adore the Poly and stay there every trip. This October will be our 9th time staying there. We can't wait!

Our trip coming up in 2 weeks will be our first time at the Poly. We have always stayed in the Value resorts so I know I am in for a treat! I cannot think about anything BUT vacation! I am so useless right now!!!

We just got back from staying at the Poly from April 18-23. To our magical surprise, we got DOUBLE upgraded from a purchased garden view to a lagoon view to a garden conceigre view!!! room #2513 in Hawaii Even though we had a garden view, we were able to enjoy all of the amenities of the lounge and even see the fire works from the lounge one night, after which we went down to the beach. This choice of hotel was my DH, which was for his 40th birthday. I totally recommend this hotel (we are BC villas stayers) for the monorail access to the Magic Kingdom and overall atmosphere. This resort was totally a dream come true!!! Best wishes to all who have upcoming visits planned. I will be crossing my fingers that you too receive some extra pixie dust!!!

We will be arriving Monday too. Our first stay at the Poly, we are all very excited!

It'll be our first stay, as well, and a surprise for DH (he and the kids think we're staying at POR!)

Look for a family of 6 with a 12 y/o boy in a wheelchair!

We are leaving two weeks from today to experience the Poly for the first time!! Can't wait!!

We totally agree! We love the Poly! It seems to me that you either "get it" or you don't. There don't seem to be too many lukewarm opinions of the Poly.

Oh, I love the poly too! My husband and I will be staying there in November!! It will be his first time there, but it will be my 5th! He didn't need much convincing

Wow! This is the first trip for DH and DDs this Sept. and we picked the Poly. After reading thoughts on the board I'm glad we did. Now I'm worried I won't get to stay anywhere else.....ever.

We love the Poly - it is our favorite hotel!! We have two rooms and will be there June 8-13. The last time we stayed there, it was concierge and that was wonderful. We are looking forward to our next trip being spent with the extended family. Beautiful landscaping, lovely theme, being in WDW, etc., etc., etc. Can't wait to go!!!

We are going on a land/sea DCL vacation in October. I don't know what is more exciting, our first stay at the Poly or our first DCL cruise! I can barely contain my excitement! Woo hoo!

This is the first time I've responded to this thread. We will also be checking in on the 8th and we're leaving on the 12th. This is our first trip to the Poly and we are so excited.

We are also Polynesian fanatics; it is an excellent resort and the theme is really well done. Whenever I am there, I feel like I'm on a tropical island just forgetting about the real world for a few days, and being able to see the castle and the quick access via the monorail just adds so much.

This is exactly why I picked the Poly because I need that tropical island feel to get away! This is my DH and DS's first trip to WDW and this is the first time staying on site. I was originally going to try and keep some of it a secret, but that lasted all of about 2 seconds
