Thanks for all the Merry Christmas Wishes !! I was sick most of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day !! Upper Respiratory stuff that knocked me off my feet I mostly slept for s 2 days just getting up for all the important stuff like putting the presents under the tree and being there for the "Opening" !! I did still have an appetite so enjoyed our Roast beef on Weck, with cheesey potatoes cauliflower and cheesse relish tray and many choices of dessrt that of course included trifle !!

This morning I rallied to go do my day after shopping !! I now have enuff paper, tags, boxes tissue paper , bags to last 2 Christmases:rotfl2: Also picked up stocking stuffers for next year and smelly sets for the kids !!:rotfl2:Next I will be waiting for Target's 90% off sale next month!! We are still using lights I picked up fo 25c 2 years ago!!

I hope everyone had a Healthier Christmas than me , but I am glad I was able to see all the Hi Lites !!

So sorry to hear that you were sick for most of Christmas, Rosie!

But good to hear that you are feeling better!

Thank You Karin !! I haven't been sick for Christmas in a long time !!! At least this time I was able to enjoy the best parts !!:banana:

Tomorrow I will load the few pix I took and post some !! Do they have 50% off the day after Christmas in Austria ??? It is perfect to pick up all the wrapping paper etc and store it till next year!!In all honesty though I have enough for 2 years now !!:rotfl2:

How was your Christmas please post and tell !!!:banana:

Rosie, sorry to hear that you were sick for the holidays. I had an upset stomach Christmas Eve night...but that was AFTER eating my mother-in-law's cooking. ;)

Glad you could participate in the important stuff. :)

Rosie, I am so sorry that you felt bad during Christmas! I hope you get well soon! Good luck with the bargain hunting tomorrow!! :goodvibes

Dec 25 and 26 are holidays here and then it is back to business. We don't have any special sales, some shops will sell leftover Christmas items at a reduced rate, but not all.
I do stock up on special items WHEN they are on offer sometime during the year.

We had a nice, laid back and quiet Christmas. I was battling a sore throat myself over Christmas and Tom was dead tired from all the work.
But I did post a few photos of our tree over on my pre-trippie for February!

Thank goodness I could still eat and enjoy the food !! I just hacked away non stop and slept !! My family knows is I sleep during the day I am sick !! I just can't normally sleep except at night !! So that is always the first indicator to the family !!It;s " Grandma's sleeping she has to be sick ":rotfl2:

We always keep it simple for Christmas , there's just enuff mess and mayhem without a lot of cooking !! So it has been Roast Beef on Weck a few times as everyone loves it and the cheesy potatoies are a big hit too and so simple !!

I have to work today and tomorrow at second job but my boss knows I'm under the weather and not to expect anything but the basic from me !!:rotfl2:

Sorry you were sick for the holiday, I was down for the count as well in addition to be stuck at work. On the mend now though, hope you get back to 100% soon!
