Like most of you, I've been listening to the podcast since it was in it's original (and akward) format. Even when we didn't have a trip planned...I still listened! I was determined that one day when we went back, I'd have a ton of knowledge stored up and ready to use!
Lo and behold, we quickly planned a trip and were in the World January 16-22 of this year! We stayed at WL and BLT and had a marvelous time.
Since our first trip, I've had my gallbladder removed and then developed IBS. Now, my body can't process fats like it used to. To avoid getting sick for days, I need to stay under about 7-9 grams of fat per meal.
Thanks to Kathy's experimenting with the gluten-free items, and the reporting and posting of other podcast members, the trip was a dietary success!!
With the exception of one chef, we had AMAZING service! Two of them (Boma and Crystal Palace) even knew I was coming and had items prepared for me ahead of time. Seriously.
I just wanted to say thank you to the podcast team, and all of you, for not only providing a great source of entertainment and connection to Disney, but for providing a reliable and invaluable resource when visiting the Disney parks. I'd hug you all if I could, but let's face it...John doesn't like touching and the chance of me meeting all of you is slim to none!
If you want to read my dining review, I'm posting it first on the DisAbilities board and will then put it on the Dining Review board. You can read it here at http://http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2656110
Thanks!
Katie
