Like most of you, I've been listening to the podcast since it was in it's original (and akward) format. Even when we didn't have a trip planned...I still listened! I was determined that one day when we went back, I'd have a ton of knowledge stored up and ready to use!

Lo and behold, we quickly planned a trip and were in the World January 16-22 of this year! We stayed at WL and BLT and had a marvelous time.

Since our first trip, I've had my gallbladder removed and then developed IBS. Now, my body can't process fats like it used to. To avoid getting sick for days, I need to stay under about 7-9 grams of fat per meal.

Thanks to Kathy's experimenting with the gluten-free items, and the reporting and posting of other podcast members, the trip was a dietary success!!

With the exception of one chef, we had AMAZING service! Two of them (Boma and Crystal Palace) even knew I was coming and had items prepared for me ahead of time. Seriously.

I just wanted to say thank you to the podcast team, and all of you, for not only providing a great source of entertainment and connection to Disney, but for providing a reliable and invaluable resource when visiting the Disney parks. I'd hug you all if I could, but let's face it...John doesn't like touching and the chance of me meeting all of you is slim to none!

If you want to read my dining review, I'm posting it first on the DisAbilities board and will then put it on the Dining Review board. You can read it here at http://http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2656110

Thanks!
Katie

I agree wholeheartedly. I can't even express the thanks to the crew for all they have done for me!

I agree to, the hours everyweek you all spend to give us information and entertainment, I can not express how much they mean to me and the word Thank you just seems so short.

I have learned so much from you all and feel like you are a extended part of my family.

I have been following the boards and the podcast for over two years and it's been so helpful. Thanks to all the crew for your hard work! :cheer2:

I found the dis in 2005 and started listening to podcasts a year later. The boards have informed and entertained me on a daily basis.
The podcasts are a highlight !! I listen to them in the car as does my husband we must look strange laughing and crying. Thank you so much. Although we go to WDW every year we have never been there for a Dis meet. We have that to look forward to. We come from the England and cannot wait for the comments on the funny talking English people LOL.

I've been a member since 2007 and have listened to every pod cast. I can't begin to tell anyone the amount of information I have gathered from the DIS and the podcasts...I look forward every week for a new show...even if it doesn't pertain to me at the time, it might somewhere down the road. Having met Pete, Walter, John, Kevin, Corey, Julie, Kathy and T.....it makes listening to the show all the more enjoyable, as I can now picture them in my head as they speak. They all have such a great chemistry with each other.

The DIS Rocks !!!!
