I was wondering about CS with the dining plan....If you order, for example, a choice from the grill which includes fries or potato salad...does this count as a combo and so no dessert?? or can you still choose a dessert?? (sounds like alot of food but DH and DD4 are big ice cream fans)

Also, to anyone who has eaten there, how is the food?

The Plaza actually counts as a TS...I really wish it was a CS!!!!

The food is great and the atmosphere is so peaceful and unthemepark like. You would be able to order ice cream, but it is a TS not a CS.

oops...thanks for the info!! Not sure how I missed that...too many late nights pouring over menus and details, I guess!!

So do you go up to a counter and order your food, or are you waited on like at a regular TS?

You are seated at a table and order from a menu.. just like a regular TS.

It is a very nice and quiet restaurant. We enjoy it very much!

DH and I had lunch at the Plaza back in September. Definately TS. It was indeed quite and pleasant. The food was different and pretty good. To be fair, this lunch was on our last day and somtimes near the end of the trip you are just tired of restaurants in general. I would like to try it again near the beginning of our next trip in December.

The restaurant is a full service with waiters and waitress. It is not very large and is nice change for the busier places at the MK.

We are trying Plaza in 22 days!!!

Making it our 1st stop at the park!!!!

Not to get the post off subject, but how is the Plaza for kids? I have a 2 year old, and I thought it might be a nice break while we're in MK. She does pretty well in sit-down places.

The Plaza is fine for kids. We really enjoy it there. The sandwiches are very fresh.

Just ate at the Plaza this past week. They have Rubens, and club sandwiches, a wrap sandwich, a delicious salad with pears and asiago cheese and chicken, a soup, and hamburgers. The 100th family seated there each day recieve a certificate, a photo, and free dessert by one of the Main Street streetmosphere people. This place is fine for kids, and I agree, a nice quiet break right in the middle of the MK.

How cool is that!?!?! Has anyone ever had this happen to them--& if so, what time did you dine? A girl can dream, can't she!?
