The Plaza or Kona Cafe?

Hi, I was wondering which is better for food and service Kona or The Plaza. We will be at MK that day but are staying at Poly so either one is fine as far transportation goes. which has better food and Dessert? Thanks

Kona Cafe is a little more upscale when it comes to food offerings and there is no comparison when it comes to desserts. It is also a nice get a way from the MK crowd.

The Plaza is also great for staying in the park and have nice sandwich offerings with great shakes. We enjoy the Plaza along with the Crystal Palace.

Another vote for Kona -- the food, the atmosphere, the service. We are not big Plaza fans -- we find the atmosphere weirdly cold and uninviting, and the food very ho-hum basic. There is certainly the benefit of being in the park and the convenience of being able to eat right there, but if you are "done" for the day at dinner time then I would absolutely recommend heading back to the Poly for a nicer meal.

We, too, are not big fans of the Plaza. I would definitely take the monorail over to the Kona Cafe!

We certainly enjoyed the Kona. Great food, and desserts to die for!

IMO, this one's not even close. The Kona is just way way better--its like comparing a four star restaurant to TGI Fridays!
