Is DBF a treehugger, then?

Nah! I'm more of the tree hugger. He wants to be a farmer on our 1.5 acres.
I have to laugh cause we actually own 29 acres of almost all forest AND DH works at a lumbermill.
Farming is tough work, I can't get anything but weeds to grow, but they are waist high

Great trip report so far! You gotta give us a thorough run down of what you thought of Old Key West! It looks very nice from the above pictures!
I will, I promise. Probably after DTD.
Like the others, I thought "What mistress?!" Then after seeing the newspaper clipping I was like "Of course, I knew this - how could I not put two and two together to make the 'Harley D' connection?!"
That would be your second "DOH" Homer!
Did you guys go to the Harley store in Downtown Disney?
Of course!DH must support his mistress whereever we go!
Great trippie so far! Your son is a cool kid and my lil' buddy fo' sho!
Thanks! Any compliment about him is much appreciated.
Why do they do that? It was kinda funny though. One family with an obviously Type A dad sat on the floor, and mom proceeded to break out new toys for the kids, while Dad was on his cell phone. Remember, this is 5:40 am! Then Mom realizes that Dad got his boarding pass while at work the previous day and is in Group A, while she and the kids, about 3 & 5 are in Group B. Then, he boards ahead of them!Old Key West looks sooo pretty!
It is pretty, and very laid back.More on it as we go along, promise!![]()
Sounds like your flight went really well aside from the people crowding all the floor space in the airport.I can't tell you what I would have done had that been married to me, but I sure wouldn't refer to him as DH.
Unless the D meant Dead!

Thank you for being along for the ride. More pics coming.

That's great. I bet he was sleeping on the couch for a few days.

We can only hope, Lifelong Dreamer. Since I'm Italian, he would have been "sleeping with the fishies", and I don't mean Nemo!![]()
Hi,I saw a little bit about your trip on Ethans trip report, and it caught my curiosity. I can't imagine how scary getting that call must have been for you,and especially for your husband to go through that. How did he hold on anyway? It must have been so painful!
I am looking forward to reading the rest of your trip report, and I hope that your family all had a wonderful time on your trip and that your husbands leg didnt bother him too much.
After reading about the dangers of your husbands mistresss,I will no longer complain about being a football widow! LOL!![]()
Welcome Heart of Disney! Glad to have you here. Aren't all mistresses dangererous?Actually, it was such a freak accident and he handled it so well, I don't have a problem with him riding again. Much

Thanks for being along for the ride.
congrats on the purchase!!! I am happily joining in for your report! Oh I wish I could get my husband to see the value in joining DVC. I haven't actually sprung it on him yet. I know his better answer would be let's just move to Florida though! LOL We have looked at jobs out there and talked about it and he knows it is tempting to me to be close to Orlando LOLMarch 23, 2007
Hubby went to work at 5AM as usual. A few minutes later the phone rings. Its DH.
DH: Hey, I ummm, just got hit by a deer!
Me: (Suddenly wide awake) Where are you? Are you ok?
DH: Im on **** Road. Im not sure.
Me: Ohmygosh. Do you want me to call 911?
DH: Well, I dont know. I guess, well, maybe youd better.
Oh my gosh....I'm so glad your husband was eventually o.k. and you got to go on your trip!
That brought back two similar memories! In February, 2006 we were scheduled to leave for our Disney trip in 4 weeks and my husband had an accident at work. He is a helicopter pilot and was up on the side of the helicopter washing it and slipped off and broke his heel. He ended up in surgery with a plate in his foot. He volunteered to still go on the trip but I knew it was not going to be the same so we decided to postpone it. It was a good thing because he ended up with a bad infection and another surgery.
Then in November, I got the same call as you....yikes! He was on his way to work in rural Arkansas and a deer ran out in front of him! His whole front end was totalled. Thank goodness he was driving a large Dodge truck and he was o.k.
Looking forward to the rest of your trip!
Subscribing.
I'm curious about how you handled the heat!!![]()
As I think of other things, I will add them in the TR.I'm caught up! Thanks for not posting too much too soon. Wow. You did have me with the mistress thing. I was wondering how you could be so calm and cool with everything when he had a mistress. But I guess that kind of mistress can be just as bad because she's a lean, mean, fighting machine, eh? And she probably never talks back to him or gives him honeydew lists...![]()
Are you implying that I talk back or give honeydew lists?I would never do that! Why waste my time?

Glad to hear that he was basically fine before your trip. I'm hoping that he was fine for your entire trip but I know that broken bones can get hurting at the end of the day, especially in humidity...
This is one of those Wait and See comments![]()
Your son is so cute. And it's a good thing you told us that he befriended that boy because it looks like he is giving that boy the, "I hope that you aren't going to pop that gum in my face," look.
I know! I love the expression, and didn't realize I had gotten the gum bubble either!
Looking forward to more...![]()

Sorry you had to postphone a trip, but it does always seem to work out, doesn't it. Deer are very scary, and very dangerous.
I didnt bother to take a temp reading but it was hot enough to render any deodorant/anti-perspiring liquid/cream/roll on Null and VOID. If a picture is worth a thousand words, wonder what a smell is worth?
