The Pixar Zoetrope at DCA

I have seen it at DCA. It is crazy, wonderful, mezmerizing, and needs to be watched more than once.

It can also make one a bit motion sick!!

Have spent much time fascinated by it at DCA. Just amazing!

LOVED it!!
We got to see it last spring on our trip to DL.
This was just fascinating!!

It really is cool....but hard to get a picture of.

For me, this was one of the special surprises during my first ever DL trip last summer. I took video and the same pics as Tom. It really was amazing. I'm hoping it'll still be there when I return in August.

It was very cool. We watched it a number of rounds and my non-Disney loving husband finally found a reason to got to a Disney park willingly ;)

It is pretty mesmerizing. You really don't realize how cool it is until the strobe lights start going.

It was so cool! We saw it in August while on the Backstage Magic tour - the kids adored it and didn't want to leave!!

This is always a must see for us every trip. I never get tired of it. The animation building that it is in also has other neat areas. You can take a 15 minute class on drawing a Disney character. Or you can visit the Beast's library or let Ursala take your voice and put it in a Disney cartoon. Crush's show is also there. On a hot day, the animation building is a great spot to take a break. :)

DW always tells first-timers to make sure they see the zoetrope. It never disappoints.

Absolutely! And I want to point out it is in a back room, walking across the big movie room you first walk in to. Someone a while back, a WDW vet and first timer to DLR, posted that they didn't really "get" the animation building and couldn't find anything to do in there. Somehow they missed all the exits around the edge of the movie room that takes you to the other attractions inside and they missed the zoetrope. All they saw was the movie screens. I say this so people know to go all the way in and take a good look around. If you aren't sure about something there are CMs inside you can ask.

I haven't seen this, but this is one of the things I love about Disney -- little hidden treasures that are not often advertised or headlines but are the ones that capture the most imagination. wow. :)

Cheers!
