The Pixar Story...

Caught this fantastic documentary tonight on Starz. It replays May 27th at 9:55 pm EST. Truly it was a great behind the scenes look at the creation of PIXAR, animated features such as Toy Story, Monsters Inc., and Finding Nemo. It does touch on 2D animation with Disney, and also the talks with Iger that ultimately resulted in the placement of Pixar within Disney as a whole.

I was delighted I caught this when I did, I just missed the first part discussing Toy Story and Bug's Life. It is a must see for fans of both Pixar and Disney.

Catch it if you can or TIVO!

I see it's on again on Saturday morning around 8am. I just logged into directtv and set the TIVO to record it. I love all this high tech stuff.

I just did that a while ago too...its pretty awesome. I can read about a show coming up and login and record it.

I'm recording it on Encore (at least that's what my DVR says), since I don't get Starz, sometime in the next couple of weeks. Can't wait to see it!

Thanks for the heads up! I'd seen an ad for it a while back and forgot to record it and figured I'd missed my chance. I just set my TiVo to record it. Anyone that's looking for it - it's listed as "Stars Inside: The Pixar Story." I did a keyword search for Pixar and it came up...along with a new Food Network Challenge - Pixar Cakes!! That will be on June 1.
