DW calling me from Wal-mart telling me she didn't get a GBA...she made the mistake of getting a shopping cart...
Now I can't go back to sleep..
Looks like we're paying full price...
Sorry you were woken up by that Todd. I was brave and went to Staples to get a compact flash card that was on sale for $27 (128 MB) It wasn't too bad there but for a store like that it was still pretty bad!
I think the price on GBA was $49, a savings of $20. I bought DD#1 a GBA at Toys R Us two weekends ago for full price, but got a Mario game with it worth $20 or $30, so I didin't have to buy her extra games--she can use her regular GB games on it anyhow.

I got to Walmart right at 6 a.m. and managed to get one of the coveted GBA's. What a Zoo! Good thing is I'm basically done with my Christmas shopping now
Actually, we were able to get the GBA for $49.00. The Walmart I went to only had 40 and some individuals took 5. I was about 60 or so back when the door opened. My sister was going through the line for a second time, big line by then, and when she got to the register one was laying on the counter . By this time I was at Meijers seeing if they would price match, of course not since the one at Walmart had the screen protector and the one at Meijers did not. My sister and I did end up buying 2 at Meijers for $70.00, then you received a coupon for $20 off of a game...these are for 2 of our nephews.
DH may complain about being woken at 6am, but he isn't complaining about the new DVD/VCR combo that I picked up for him at a price of $99.00
Anyone still looking for a GBA, go on line to Circuit City. They are selling GBA's for 69.99, which includes a game. A decent deal, imo, considering the shipping is free.
