I am not a golf person, but I guess I am surprised. My husband watches and he didn't like LIV but I'll have to get his take on it.

The Saudis essentially own professional golf now. The Saudi royal family fund will be the sole investor in the new merged league.

It'll be interesting to see what the players will do who rejected playing for LIV because of the Saudis' record of human rights abuses and murder of critics like Jamal Khashoggi. Now they won't have a choice.

Families of the victims of 9/11 are furious and are calling it a betrayal, and I think it is.
