The Perfect Day

BDRof3 and family, the Auburn92 family, and the otter-spotter family, all enjoying the MK yesterday (but not the heat). Then we sent the youngin's back to the hotel to cool the kiddies off in the pool while us old folks obtained fast passes for the Buzz Lightyear ride for everyone. Met up about 90 minutes later at Fulton's for wonderful comaraderie (eating interfered with good conversation) and the time seemed to fly by.

Has anyone noticed that about Disney? Time moves at twice the normal rate. I haven't figured that one out yet. You would think Disney's Imagineers would have figured out how to slow time down so you would have more time to spend money. I suppose when someone finally invents the flux capacitor, you will be able to control the passage of time.

In the meantime - Rob, Denise, and their 3 kids are SUPER people. You only capture a smidgen of their true, wonderful essence from the board. I'm so glad he messaged me wanting to get together. I would have lost out on further enriching my life had I not met the Morrisons.

Not to slight the Major's clan - but we are fortunate enough to see them several times a year. I feel like C.J. is my grandchild - even though his parents are only as younger siblings to me!

Sounds absolutely wonderful! I love hanging with you and the Majors (I have adopted CJ in a sense myself ) and the Morrisons are a family I am still anxiously awaiting the pleasure of meeting! Plus, I have a score to settle with Zorg.

Sounds WONDERFUL! I'm almost jealous. I can hardly wait for our Fort visit. Hope some of you are there during our trip!

BTW, My mom spotted otters at Grandfather Mountain, NC..and got great pics! Made me think of Your Royal Otterness.

I feel no slight. I was too busy watching Rob's son Jaime and my son act like they had known each other their whole lives. By the end of the day, they had their own language they were speaking. We couldn't have possibly known what was going on in their world. It was so neat to watch. I felt like we had already known the them for 10years.

I loved it, both of you. DW commented that we talked a lot for just-met strangers, but as far as I am concerned, we have been friends for a couple of years. It was awesome.

As yes, Jamie is still asking when he will get to talk to CJ again- and we haven't been home for 2 hours yet.

We have the same here. CJ has gone on and on for three solid days, when is he going to get home??? How long does it take? When is he getting home? When can you talk to Mr. Rob on the internet? Come on Mom, this is taking way to long for me to stand it! I just have to giggle.

Sounds like a blast! My hubby calls all my internet connections my "invisible friends." It's so great to hear how well everyone hits it off in real life -- even the youngsters!

I think we all get along so well, because we all really have the same family values and beliefs. We all pretty much even have similar political beliefs (except for Ami, but we love her anyways... )

Every Fiend that I have met, felt like I had known them forever, and we were just long lost friends.
