OK, at least for me...this will be perfect. I used a fanny pack last year and hated it. I hated how it looked in all my pics, and it just didn't hold enough. My friend had a small (mini) backpack with her, that at the time I thought she would hate having to wear on her back the whole time. I was wrong. She did great, and I suffered. So I went on a mission to find a great bag, and here's what I came up with:
It is very lightweight. It has a water resistant feel to it, but not hard, or rough like a normal backpack. It has a few little inside hidden pockets for your creditcards, and money. And an easy opening to get in and out of. I just got it today, and I can't wait to use it.
I found it on ebags, and it's a Jansport daypack

Of course, this time we'll be bringing the point and shoot digital camera, but I'll probably end up keeping that in it's own little case that will most likely be hanging around my neck. It's small enough that I can just carry it on the rides so I won't have to worry about someone getting a new digital camera at my expense, if you know what I mean!
