Yes, Dr. Bonnie, as per list on page one, I have 10/15 to 11/28 open.

If you are interested send me, by PM, your full name, ressie number, check in and out dates with approx. arrival departure times at POP, and contact # while at WDW. Once I recieve your info I will put you in as confirmed.

Since you only have 1 post, you will have to increase your posts before you can send a PM. You either need 6 or 10 (I can't remember for sure). I suggest you read a few Trip Reports and post a few comments and you'll have your count up in no time.

I have June 3-9th open. Micday has it from 6-1 to 6-3. Send me your full name, ressie number, check in and out dates with approx. times, and contact # at WDW. Once I receive it (by PM) I will put you in as confirmed. Hopefully you can do an in-person swap with both parties. Micday on the 3rd and madamimadam on the 9th. It's the best way to keep things from going MIA.

Click on Send New Message on the left side of the Private Message screen. You can send them both the same PM by putting their names in the first box (recipient) like this:

Then type your message in the box. I've already heard back from Micday so she is waiting for your PM. madamimadam hasn't picked up the PMs I have sent recently so I haven't heard back from him yet. To see if your messages are read down on the bottom of the PM screen you will see Misc. Options. Click on the circle next to "Request a read receipt for this message" to know when your messages are read.

You're doing it right. your dates are open. I will pencil you in for 12/10 to 12/16 p.m. and when you send me your full name, ressie #, check in and out dates with approx. times and contact # at WDW (home if you won't have a cell with you) by PM I will put you in as confirmed. After that you can wait awhile before contacting the swappers you'll be involved with (as of now there isn't one after you but there will be). I would start making contact about 1-1/2 months or so before you leave.

Hey all. This hasn't come up in a long time but has recently so it bears mentioning-

If you join this swap you agree to pick up the fridge as arranged. That's all I ask. If it's left unclaimed during your stay then you jeapordize the swap for everyone else. This is completely unfair (and selfish) to all involved, inc. me. I have spent 100's of hours keeping this swap going and all that is asked of you is that you spend a little time at the beginning, and end, of your trip to do the swaps. Likewise putting the next swapper's info on the box if it's going to Luggage Services. This is a very important step.

I you feel you are going to be too busy during your vacation to take about a half hour or so to pick up the fridge from Luggage Services, then please, do everyone a favor and don't sign up. If you don't have the small amount of time that doing the swap requires then IMHO you've scheduled yourself way too tight. Vacations are for fun, not to be over scheduled. Some swappers have even had Luggage Services bring it to their room. A few have reported that it's even been in their room already when they arrived.

When I have picked up the fridge it's been very easy. I get it the same time I get the luggage cart to bring all our things to the room. If I'm doing an in-person swap, it's just as easy. Just call the swapper before you and make arrangements to meet. It's that easy. In 2007 the swapper before us even gave us their unopened snacks and waters. I too have been known to give the next swapper the water we didn't drink.

If something happens during your trip that makes getting the fridge impossible (medical emergency , etc.) then I need to be informed ASAP to keep things going. If the fridge sits in storage past the pick up date (check in date) on the box there is a very good chance that POP will figure it is unclaimed and deal with it in their own way. It may even be given to another swap if their fridge goes MIA.

So please, if you make the committment, then do the swap. Don't jeopardize everyone else who follows you. If you don't to the swap, let me know ASAP. Rememver everyone else coming after you is relying on you to keep your commitment, inc. me in Sept.

Okay, that's my rant for now, now back to our regular scheduled programming.

I've just opened an account with Disboards since I recently heard about the stroller swap possibility.

My family will be staying at Pop Century June 20, 2009-June 27, 2009.

I know that there are some stroller swaps (maybe all?) where you have to be a member for at least 6 months. Is it the same for a frig swap? Are there any available for my dates?

No I don't require a min. membership period or postings however, I don't have your dates open. The only night I have open is June 20th and it wouldn't be worth it for only one night. Sorry

There are no blanket rules for swaps/shares. Whoever runs it makes their own rules.

AVAILABLE 7/13 midday to 7/15 before noon

DisneyTinkerbell 7/15 to 7/21 before noon Confirmed

AVAILABLE 7/21 before noon to 7/25

As you can see I have only a few days at the end of your trip open 7/21 to 7/23. Let me know if you want it for those 2 nights/3 days.
