Nicole, I'm glad you'll get to pop in at WDW!! It would be so hard to be right there and not get that fix. I'm sure you'll do fine on the training, they are probably trying to weed out the people who aren't serious.
Amber, I thought the online ADR system was pretty easy. It seemed like there was much more availability on the "popular" restaurants than there usually seems to be. I don't know if it's because of being online you can see alternative times/dates & restaurants, or if attendance is down. If you really want Ohana, keep trying! It's so much easier than calling all the time, I always feel like they are making notes about what a pest I am if I call & bug reservations.
Ashley, we will definitely get together! We might end up with extra meal credits because Lyzzie often doesn't order anything and she is now an adult on the
DDP. But even if it's not for a meal, we'll for sure hang out together. I'm so excited about it!! I'm so sorry to hear you're having thyroid issues. You're lucky it was detected early so you can get on the meds. I used to work with a woman who had had her thyroid removed because she wouldn't take the meds; it left a nasty scar across her neck.

I know thyroid issues cause weight gain, do you know if the meds help get rid of the extra weight or at least stop the gaining? Ooooh I'm jealous that you get to go to the Idol concert! Around here they come right around the time of our annual WDW
free dining trek so we never go to the concert. That's also when the Barnum & Bailey circus comes to town so we always miss that too. Ahhh, the things we do for that Mouse!
Poor Emma's new hermit crab got sick. She was playing with him today and she was frustrated that he hasn't been as friendly as usual for a few days. Well she suddenly started screaming that his claw fell off!! I had read that it's not too unusual for them to drop a leg or a claw so we put him back in the cage and thought he might be ready to molt. Then we came home from grocery shopping after an hour and he had lost 2 more legs, all on the same side, and his eyes and antennae were really droopy. I felt so bad for Emma, because I had very sternly told her when we got these new crabs that they would be the last ones. Since they were so new, we ended up taking him back to the pet store and they let us exchange it for a new one. The lady there was really rude, at first she looked at him and said, "He's dead." I said no he's not, but he's close. She said, "Oh, then he's molting. Take him home and leave him alone, he's fine." Uhhh... lady, you just said he's dead! So now Emma is on Crab #3 -- Scribble. This time I mean it, this is the LAST ONE!

So far it's doing well, I can't tell if it loves Lyzzie's crab or hates it but they were just yelling at each other in the cage a minute ago. It's a very weird noise that they make! Kind of sounds like a squeaky sneaker.
So that was our excitement for the day. Tomorrow we are going to the zoo and Spiderman will be there. Emma says she is NOT going to meet him! We will see.
PS -- Ashley, don't forget to make your final payment!
