Day Five - The One Where We Nearly Melted
Wednesday 19 August
We were first into breakfast again today, but we still couldnt eat too much, being full up from the previous night.
We went through the Village to the train station where we bought Husband his train ticket to Paris and off he went. He had a good time in Paris, going to the top of the Eiffel Tower, seeing Notre Dame and getting very very hot.

Meantime Dtr and I were in EMH, going twice on Buzz ( I scored 318,000

Next we had a look at the Christmas shop in the Castle (well, what else would you do on a boiling hot August day?

I picked up FPs for later on. She was off the ride quickly and we went to Indiana Jones. There was hardly any queue here and it was not yet 10.30 by the time she was off. We sat outside Colonel Hathis sipping water until it was time for our BTM FPs.

We used these then decided to go to Casey Jrs rope drop to ride that and La Pays de Doo-Dah.

After this we went into Alices Labyrinth and headed towards the Castle in the middle.

Everybody was taking advantage of the little jets of water putting their hands in and splashing them onto their faces. The Castle in the middle was baking in the morning sun.

We decided to go to Colonel Hathis stopping first at the water mister that was heavenly!

We sat outside on the veranda having lunch and watching the world go by. After looking through Aladdin's Passage.....

....we then wandered down Main Street, where Dtr bought a new top and then went for a prolonged bout of shopping in the Village. We then set off to the air conditioned splendour of our hotel room. Half an hour later Husband returned and we all decided to go swimming. We spent the next 2 hours alternating between cooling in the pool and roasting in the sun a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon.
We slowly got ready for the evening and went back to the Park - to the Silver Spur for our evening meal.

Dtr sketched Husband on the little drawing pad toy.

Afterwards we went on POTC and then explored the Tree House which had lovely twilight views over the Resort.

Back in Fantasyland we went towards IASW world but it was roped off and the queue wasnt moving so it appeared it was broken.
We went onto Pinocchio and Snow White instead. It was still unbearably hot and it was making us all very tired so we decided to go back to the bar at the Hotel. It was nearly 10 oclock and most rides were closing anyway. We all enjoyed a cocktail in the City Bar before going back to our room.
