The on again off again on again pre trip report

Ok so this will be the trip that almost didnt make it. So many things have went wrong but now its all sorted. and in just three weeks we will be back in dlrp again

So whos going??

Me - Sonya 23: ive always loved disney, grew up with all the films. New to the theme park. Its my second visit. Fave disney film, Beauty and the Beast. Wants to meet, Belle

Mom age not disclosed : my mom was my challenge for the last trip as she decided she wouldnt enjoy it. i was right of course and now she cant wait to go back. Fave disney film, Bambi. Wants to meet, Cruella

DD Ashleigh (just turned 2): my little disney addict. she has a drawer full of disney films.Fave disney film, she loves them all but i would say pocahontas (she calls her poco pocket) as it was the first film she fell in love with. Wants to meet, everyone lol she loves friar tuck and all the princesses. she will be happy as long as she gets plenty of autographs. she still looks through her old book lol

Trip from 1st feb - 7th feb

I went for six nights this time as with ash we have to take our time as she insists on walking everywhere. Staying at the Santa Fe again, fine for a budget holiday and we actually like this hotel. 595 euro for 2 adults for 6 nights not too bad.

We are flying to cdg and have arranged transfers with bs transport.

I havent planned a whole lot for this trip as i learned the last time its better to go with the flow but there are a few things i would like to do

Do scheduled meet and greets
Watch some shows
HISTA
Spend time in the studios

Meal planning
As always i am faced with the challenge of finding somewhere my mom will eat. She didnt like cafe mickey but i am going back anywhere for the characters for ash. I really want to try the silver spur and the rainforest cafe. Any suggestions are welcome!!!

So thats all for now, i will update if any new plans are made

Meal Plans Decided

So finally i have sorted my meal plans!! hopefully fingers crossed there will be no sickness and i can enjoy.

Sunday: annettes, i have a feeling that this will become a tradition with us.

Monday: Cafe Mickey, also becoming a tradition on our first few days. will have to share with ash so its pizza for me. i hope i can find something for my mom to not complain about.

Tuesday: no emh today so we will try Good Morning Annettes breakfast.

Wednesday:

Thursday: Rainforest Cafe. it took a lot of convincing but when my mom saw bobs pics and i showed ash a video of the animals and she was hysterical laughing finally my mom gave in.

Friday:

As you can see i have two days free. so any suggestions welcome. so excited now not long to go woohoo!!!!

I love the Santa Fe's rooms, they are so comfortable! I've only gone for the Cheyenne this time as it was half the price of the Santa Fe!

Im sure you'll have a great time and Ash will love it.

We stayed in Santa Fe for our first 2 trips and would quite happily stay there again

im still debating about it. it would have to be have board plus as we arent big into buffets. just trying to convince my mom about restaurants. they way i see it they are better value than counter service as at least you are full. with counter service you will be eating again later and costing the same in the end for burgers and chips

Hi Sonya, would your Mum like Walt's? It's like stepping back in time and the service was great. If you get a window table during the parade, that might keep Ash occupied while you and your mum enjoy a leisurely dinner. The hb+ menu had chicken, salmon or ravioli as mains. The desserts were lovely. It has a real Disney Magic about the place, I'm sure you know what I mean.

i would love to eat at walts. i had booked for my last visit but as you all know by now i was sick even then my mom was like oh i would love to eat there lol so i might be able to convince her this time. my only worry is would ash sit still long enough kwim. but it would be great if i could get a window seat for the parade im sure she would be too busy then.

They gave our kids these little Disney sketch toys - the ones where you draw and then make it disappear (sorry can't think what they're called). You should definitely eat there this time.

sounds good. i think i will say nothing and then when we are passing say hey why dont we book a table my treat lol. then she cant say no. i am getting so excited now. i can wait for my sdd!! ash is sitting down looking through the photo album of our last trip and telling me all about it bless. cant wait to make new memories.
