The pictures are of the Gold Bug Mine up in Placerville. It is a real mine. That was the first time Chris had been there.

Haven't been to that one.


Went for a ride to deliver some veggies to a friend so it was nice to get out of the house for a while.

This is the entrance to the mine. It goes about a 1/4 mile. It is cold and damp and wet in there. This is the first time Chris has ever been to it.. Some pics are blurry as you had to wear a hard hat.

This is the stamp mill, the miners would have to lug the gold up a hill to the stamp mill for it to be crushed. I should of taken a pic of the hill. I will show a miniature version of the machine.

Glad Matt had a good time. Yes Fran could get in there. The tour is 5 dollars per person, The tour may take of no more than 10 -15 minutes, There is a ramp for her to drive her EVC up to it. He didn't wear any red did he?
