Thanks everyone. The interview went very well. It was a three person panel. As soon as I entered the room, the leader of the interview told me we went to high school together. Once I recognized him, I felt less nervous and it calmed my nerves. (He did not know until he saw me, because he does not know Crap. I have a different last name than I did in high school). They said their boss was out of town for training but would contact me for another interview when he returned.
The cons are that the pay is less than I made at my last job and it requires a lot of travelling for federal training. Jo, the job was for the OSHA division of the State of Nevada. I talked to Crap about it when he got home from work. Since it would almost require help from a nanny or burden a family member, I am most likely going to pass on a second interview. Connor cannot be without me for extended periods of time as I have not even stopped nursing him yet. All of the training takes place in Chicago, so I could have tried to arrange a meet with Dana. If the job paid more or the training was local, I might gone for it.
As far as the October 2013 trip goes, I just wanted to see what it would cost. At this point, it is unlikey Crap or Xander (or I if I get a job) can get the time off. I still want to try planning and saving for it just in case. If we do not get the time off, I will likely take a weekend trip to
Disneyland next year to get a Halloween party in there.
