Well to get one of Arlenes finds I need to live closer:lmao: I recently found a dog trimmer for 6 dollars, they can be expensive. Its an Oster, I just need to buy a blade. But at least i only bought the motor for six plus the blade. I think the blade I need is only 20 dollars so to me that was a great find.

That sounds like a great find.

Glad that you put in a request for your anniversary trip next year. I'm hoping that you will go back to WDW next year.

Hope you have a good interview and you might get the job.

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I am hoping we can, I need to wait a little longer before I can start booking. Where did you apply at? I need to work also.

Coincidently I didn't mean to log off, but I lost my connection and was only reading the DIS so I didn't bother reset the modem.

I hope it went well.

good luck with the interview.

Kimberly, I hope the interview goes well, and congrats for booking a possible trip!

Bret, enjoy your trip planning! I'm working on mine!

Right now Fran and I are having our computers cleaned. They are doing it remotely via the internet and supposedly they will be faster than when they came out of the box.

I'm on my way to a thrift store to donate a bunch of Arline's things for us to get the tax write off. Then it's the grocery store! Good times!

Thanks everyone. The interview went very well. It was a three person panel. As soon as I entered the room, the leader of the interview told me we went to high school together. Once I recognized him, I felt less nervous and it calmed my nerves. (He did not know until he saw me, because he does not know Crap. I have a different last name than I did in high school). They said their boss was out of town for training but would contact me for another interview when he returned.

The cons are that the pay is less than I made at my last job and it requires a lot of travelling for federal training. Jo, the job was for the OSHA division of the State of Nevada. I talked to Crap about it when he got home from work. Since it would almost require help from a nanny or burden a family member, I am most likely going to pass on a second interview. Connor cannot be without me for extended periods of time as I have not even stopped nursing him yet. All of the training takes place in Chicago, so I could have tried to arrange a meet with Dana. If the job paid more or the training was local, I might gone for it.

As far as the October 2013 trip goes, I just wanted to see what it would cost. At this point, it is unlikey Crap or Xander (or I if I get a job) can get the time off. I still want to try planning and saving for it just in case. If we do not get the time off, I will likely take a weekend trip to Disneyland next year to get a Halloween party in there.

Thank you Alison. I am getting excited for you when you go to Destination D next month.

Hopefully the programs on line will help your computers speed up really well.

Have fun at the thrift store and the grocery store. :)

I actually posted an update on my PTR last night, I'll be there sooner than Destination D. It's actually a couple of techs who are cleaning up my computer, I downloaded their application and it let them have access to our computers and they can take them over and delete all the malware and stuff that has taken over.

I wasn't shopping at the thrift store, I was dropping off stuff. I had to go to the grocery store twice because I forgot the tater tots. :headache:

Wow long haul for training. Does not sound like it is worth it. Maybe you could fond something local for a few days week in the evening. There was a full time position for the mob store in the Tropicana. If I lived there I would have applied

No one has completely settled in the dates but it would be a better question for the Real Life game thread. I know Bobbi is looking to go midweek, I haven't decided yet. I need to get with my points and some advisors of club events to know what I can cancel and keep.

Have we decided on the dates next year?

I thought you guys already picked dates. I abandoned that thread a long time ago when I realized I could not go the same dates as you guys. My dates assuming I actually get to go will be 10-25-13 (my ten year wedding anniversary) through 11-03-13. Even though it will be very crowded, I want to attend the Halloween party on Halloween. I have to start thinking of possible costume ideas.

Kimberley - I have to align the trip with school hols in australia which are from 23 September through to 6 October. I might be able to steal a week extra; but I wouldn't be going as late as 25 October.

I think Kitty had to align with her holidays which are for the week of the 29 Sep - 6 Oct.

It's cool. I would not want anyone to plan their dates around me. I am not even sure if I will be able to take the trip.

Moms pump and store. The traveling is temporary. Will you find a better job elsewhere?

Didn't happen to stop in and see what was for sale? Or were you at a drop only location where they sort and disribute?

Our dates may overlap yours, I think we'll fly to WDW on 10/30/13 before the 11/2/13 cruise. The kids want to hit Discovery Cove 10/31 and the MNSSHP on 11/1.
