I feel like I only half way know what is going on:

Princess,
Hope you had a good day at work.

Jo,
Hope you feel better.

Queenie,
Sorry about your RA and migraine pains.

Matt,
Hope you had fun at soccer practice and yes I usually stay up later than the kids and do stuff. The past few days, I have been watching the Olmpics.

Angela,
Hope your husband is doing better and whatever everyone else is wishing you luck on goes well.

Alison,
Hope everything is going well with the arrangements and that you and Fran get some serious relaxtion time soon.

Bret,
I missed the basketball game but heard they won by 24 points. Not quite as good as the Dream Team but better than the year we won bronze.

Focus,
Nice to see you on here again.

Check back with ya'll later.

Hi Jo.

How are you doing today Kim?

The US men's team won with no problem against France and it should be no problem against Tunisia. The 92 Dream Team is way better than the current team which is not that bad. This team is way better than the 04 Olympic team which took Bronze.

I am all right. Feels good to be home from work. How are you?

I watched a lot of games when the Dream Team played. I even had my Kelloggs paper jacket (not sure if anyone remembers those). When I moved away from home, someone took it before I could get it. I watched the game we lost in 2004 that caused us to get a bronze. I have not watched an Olympic basketball game since then. Kobe's comment about them being better than the original Dream Team made me laugh, because the numbers do not show that.

Hi Kim.
Don't have time to correct you on everything but suffice to say I don't have RA.

One thing I'm not watching any of as I couldn't care less is the basketball. I especially think it's been stupid since the whole 'dream team' rubbish.
Actually defeats the whole idea of the olympics...

Prefer having the unusual things like archery and so on in the background when I'm at home and not watching anything in particular.

Whenever I speed read to catch up, I always mess something up. Glad to hear that you do not have RA and if whoever mentioned it sees this, I am sorry for whomever has it.

Hope your migraine is better.

I loved watching the original dream team. It was such a big deal, because we had only sent college and non-pro players prior to 1992 while other countries sent their professional players in. When all countries were able to truly send the best, it made for more exciting games. Eight years ago, US was not even the best and I lost interest in basketball too.

I love watching the things I do not usually watch too. NBC controls what we get to watch pretty tightly, so I have yet to see any archery. I love archery, because it was the one thing I actually enjoyed when I went to camp. I dislike camping so much. Swimming and soccer are still my favorite events though.

I'm doing fine. Just can't wait to leave in two weeks until my trip.

The Dream team was amazing with all of those Hall of Famers. The 96 and 2000 teams were okay and that 2004 was just bad. They did have some big name players on the team (Allen Iverson, Tim Duncan, LeBron, etc.) but they were not a well organize team back than. In 2008 USA basketball took it serious and won gold. Today's US team is really good with all those big name basketball players.

Too bad those Europeans screwed up the no pros thing over 50 years ago.

I think the dream team was happy to play just to play. Every team after has to show they are better than the dream team and they forget to play the game.

Soccer went ok. I switched a few things up which worked pretty well, but some kids were upset that they had to stay in position and not just take the ball down field to score at will. It was really to fix things that happened in our last game, which it mostly accomplished. I may stick with it next game or just modify it.

It won't sound as nice looking at the Poly, Caribbean or Cornodo Springs.

I am really enjoying the gymnastics too. Is it just me or is the male US team extra hunky this year?

Hi! :wave2:

Tired! No, I didn't get any rest, we still have to finish cleaning out Arline's apartment and get it back on the market. We're talking $1500 per month that we're losing every month it is vacant.

Keep going, and get it ready to go again.

Going to move the furniture so Crap can do some tumbling for you?
